Stayed in Grand Promenade Villa 3 as a couple. OMG it was simply amazing from the quality of the furnishings to the well pointed kitchen in terms of appliances, coffee machine, cutlery even a cocktail shaker, nothing was amiss 5 star all the way. We had the top floor bedroom and the views were amazing, not to mention the underfloor heating in the bathroom and throughout the villa, simply cannot fault this accommodation, would definitely recommend this to couples and families and will be back as soon as we can. If we didn't go out touring around the countryside and visiting many places I would have quite happily stayed in doors with the fire on. Didn't attempt the walk down into Queenstown too steep so people hire a car to travel around or get an uber into the township. We had great weather all week, although no snow, last day was rainy and if we weren't leaving that day we would have curled up on sofa put the fire on and watched a movie with a glass of wine and be in awe of the view. Excellent location cant rate this enough 10/10 would not even cover it, over and above in my estimation. Thanks Commonage, will definitely be back.

Loved our stay at Commonage villas, the villas themselves are stunning, the views are like a live master piece and the service from the staff was fantastic. I left a charger in another hotel had it couriered to commonage and it was waiting for me when we arrived, needed some changes to our room and it was absolutely no trouble. Used the services recommended by the Commonage and had Munch Catering come and cook dinner for us which was also amazing. Can't fault it..going back in a few weeks!

We had the most wonderful family holiday in this beautiful home away from home. Everything was just perfect a beautifully well kept 3 bed apartment with every little thing you need. Perfect for families.

Ten min walk to town, down quite a steep hill and a nice walk up the hill or $8 Uber if your legs won’t carry you.

Beautiful breathtaking views. Can not fault this property at all. Underfloor heating throughout the property and a beautiful gas fire.

The only thing that niggled us a little bit was that we wanted a slightly later check-out. We followed the instructions to ask 24 hours in advance and were surprised that it couldn’t be accomodated given it was so quiet and didn’t appear to be any other guests. Not enough to put us off though we would definitely be keen to come back again soon! Thank you for a lovely time a very memorable family holiday in a beautiful home and location.

Dear emmabO5825QA Thank you for your review about your stay with us at Commonage Villas. We are delighted that you and your family had the most wonderful holiday and could not fault the property at all. Your feedback will no doubt be very helpful for other travellers when searching for family friendly accommodation offering warmth and breathtaking views in a peaceful location. We apologise that we were not able to offer you a later check out as requested - something that we are not always able to provide where back to back bookings are in place or where maintenance jobs may be scheduled. We hope that you choose to stay with us again when next you visit Queenstown Kind Regards From The Team at Staysouth

Our family of four enjoyed our week's stay at Commonage Villas. The villa is warm and beautifully furnished with great views. We found the bottom dishwasher didn't clean too well but thought this a small matter so did not complain about this at the time. To our shock, after we got home, the managing agents advised the dishwasher needed fixing, accused us of using normal sink detergent instead of dishwasher powder and charged us for its repair! This was communicated without stopping for a moment to ask if we had encountered any issues with it during our stay or to consider if it may have been misused by previous occupants. We found this a very strange way to treat guests - especially when we are absolutely certain we were not responsible. As many people do, we have a dishwasher at home and it would not cross our mind to use the wrong detergent!

Stayed in Grand Promenade Villa 1 with five adults. Overall standard of accommodation and cleanliness on arrival was high. Generous living space spread over four levels - lift was well used. Exceptional views from most windows. Weather wasn't great so didn't spend much time outside, although external fire in courtyard did look inviting. Despite the size of the Villa, it was very warm and inviting with a gas fireplace and underfloor heating. Some of the infirm guests in the group avoided the walk to town as it was steep, although others found it enjoyable. Well stocked kitchen in terms of appliances, crockery and cutlery - little surprised that there was no coffee machine given the five star status. While the Villa isn't "brand new" the quality of furnishings, overall standard of accommodation and presentation on arrival more than made up for any aged wear and tear. Would definitely stay again.

It was very nice to stay and we were there for Summer holiday. In Winter time, as I love hot bath and shower after skiing, I may find a bit of problem because shower pressure is terrible. I couldn’t imagine how can it be like this beautiful place. Jet bath hasn’t been used probably because some thing came out from the jet and took us long time to fill the tab. One night was very windy so the door from the garage made a rattling noice constantly. Other than that, it is a beautiful place to stay.

Commonage Villas, managed by StaySouth, is right up there as the premium accommodation choice in Queenstown. Spacious, warm, spotlessly clean and with one of the best views the location has to offer. Indoor car parking is a real benefit after a day of skiing and the well equipped kitchen is great for preparing any meal.
StaySouth do a super job to ensure the stay was hassle free; responsive and alert as well as down to earth and friendly.
I could write much more but discerning travellers don’t need to be convinced by the size of a review. I cannot hesitate to recommend.

Such a wonderful spot for the family to celebrate an important birthday. Property was bigger than our house and had such a stunning outlook. Easy walk into town (with 2 & 4 year old) and easy Uber back up the hill!

It could get quite chilly downstairs overnight so additional heating is required. Management dropped off some heaters which worked great.

No garage remote control which was a bit of a pain. The keypad on the door was much better than a normal key.

Would love to stay there again!

Many thanks for your message The Commonage Villas is located a 10-12 minute walk from the town centre where you will find many cafes, restaurants and hotel dining rooms to choose from for breakfast and of course other meals. One complimentary taxi ride, return, is provided each day so you can avoid walking. Otherwise the villas are self catering -so you can stock up on groceries and self cater if you wish. Halo; Vudu; Brazz or BeSpoke are just a few that you can research and visit if desired. Let us know if we can help with any other queries :) Kid Regards The Team at Staysouth
