We stayed for two nights on an powered campsite. Very beautiful setting and nice views. Hot showeres were great and the bathrooms and lounge were heated, which was very much appreciated during this time of the year. Facilities were modern and very clean. Would recommend! Wifi was 10$ for 100mB because they are using satellites. Did not try the connection,...

We stayed on a powered site which was spacious and had amazing views of the waterfalls. We visited the on site café and restaurant, the food was hearty and very tasty, perfect for the cooler, wetter weather. The shower and kitchen facilities were clean and of a high standard. The site was close to the departure point for the Milford...

We stayed 1 night in a powered camper van site at Milford Sound Lodge. The facilities were by far the best we came across on our road trip of the South Island. The showers and toilets were as comfortable as if you were at home, albeit the lack of a hair dryer. Staff were friendly and coffee was great for...

I stayed in a mountain view chalet, which was very comfortable, heated bathroom floor, lovely linen and pillows, gorgeous view. There is a restaurant which has a limited menu and delicious food for both breakfast and dinner. I think the rate should include breakfast.

The views from the riverside chalet was incredible. We literally stayed in one of the most beautiful natural wonders of the world. The room itself was standard - comfortable & clean. Friendly service. We enjoyed the home cooked style of meals at the lodge after a week of restaurants and take out but you aren't there for the food or...

To our surprise the chalet we stayed in had a great view of the river and mountains. It was clean, spacious and large. It had a TV and internet access if you want those things out this way. We had dinner at the restaurant/cafe and the meal we had was delicious. Would I stay here again? Definitely. Even the drive from...

We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom. I could not rate it more highly! We had a great check in experience - found the front office team very knowledgeable about the area with some great recommendations on hikes in the area. The beds were comfortable & warm, the shower area extremely clean - the coffee & food fantastic!...

Stayed in the private chalets. You pay a premium for the location and being the only place in right in Milford Sound, but if you don't mind NZD 400+ per night then it will be worth it just for the location and privacy. Rooms them selves are studio style, enough space for 2, but you can sleep 3 in some...

If you want a full experience of 2 nights at Milford Sound then a package is great. Then hope for the weather. The rooms are great, the staff terrific and their prior communication very prompt. They also have all standards of accommodation down to park y our mobile home.

I stayed one night at the Milford Sound Lodge while preparing for my Routeburn track hiking trip. I booked through Easyhike, and they arranged my stay at the lodge in a one-room private chalet as part of the hiking package. There are varying levels of accommodations at the Lodge, from my understanding, ranging from campsites for RVs to dorm-style rooms,...
