Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This stay was great! Lots of birds singing and exactly where I needed to be while my car had to be unexpectedly fixed. Hosts are lovely and room was warm. Will definitely stay again sometime in the future.

Great little camp to stay. Pet friendly. Quiet and peaceful. PRk across the road for walking dogs, also another one 100m down the road which is a nice walk. About 5 minute drive to town centre, as camp is rural. Would stay again, good sized sites.

We stayed in the two bedroom motel unit, which wasn't so much a motel unit as an entire house. Bigger than my own house, in fact! Absolutely superb accommodation of a very high quality, spotlessly clean, and very friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

This campsite is a beautiful leafy site with large trees around the grounds to provide additional shade. The owners let us keep our caravan in the campground for free, while we went to Stewart Island for 2 nights. We stayed an additional 2 nights on our return. It is a quiet camp ground with nice grassy sites, ammenities were very clean and modern. There is washing facilities on site, the washings machines were only $2, which is very cheap compared to other campgrounds. The owners were extremely nice and very accommodating. The campground is about 5 minutes out from town, but would highly recommend.

A return visit to this holiday park did not disappoint. It is in a rural setting next to the beautiful Anderson Park, a few kms outside the City but biking distance. Good gravel and grass sites for campers, caravans and tents. Mature landscaping and well maintained flower beds. Spotless shower blocks and kitchen. Pet friendly.

We didn't even get to stay there. There was 1 caravan in the park and said we don't fit on any sites. We would fit on at least 6 of the site available but wouldn't put a caravan on a camper site.. Crazy to turn people away. Looks like an OK camp. Offered us 2 site a long away from toilets and very boggy. Don't see the difference between a caravan and camper. Wouldn't stay there at all. Go to lornville just up the road. Brilliant clean and great lawns and hedges ams big sites.

Its a pity some people use Trip Advisor to just vent about something that made them unhappy rather than genuine feedback about facilities and service standards. This guest arrived with a long caravan and decided they wanted a certain site. It was explained that this site was to short and would have left the caravan draw-bar sticking out where people walk past in the dark. At this stage they started getting pretty uptight about not getting the site they wanted and everything else we showed them was unsuitable as far as they were concerned. There was no areas that were boggy so not sure what they thought was. Nor are there any sites a long way from the facilities. There is a big difference between a caravan and a camper site as a caravan site also needs to have parking for the towing vehicle beside it and the site they wanted had a large blossom tree that meant there is no parking for an extra vehicle. We have several sites like this so people can sit outside under a tree and enjoy the shade if the sun is out We dont turn people away but do realise people have the right to choose to stay or not depending on what they think suits their needs and the choice to not stay was the customers, no ours. And the last point about the park they stayed at being just up the road fails to mention the just part is actually 5 kms. We do welcome customer feedback but in this case think its just someone a bit disgruntled about not getting their own way.
