Detailed Reviews
This campsite is a beautiful leafy site with large trees around the grounds to provide additional shade. The owners let us keep our caravan in the campground for free, while we went to Stewart Island for 2 nights. We stayed an additional 2 nights on our return. It is a quiet camp ground with nice grassy sites, ammenities were very clean and modern. There is washing facilities on site, the washings machines were only $2, which is very cheap compared to other campgrounds. The owners were extremely nice and very accommodating. The campground is about 5 minutes out from town, but would highly recommend.

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and thanks for taking the time to place a review on our property. We do offer storage for free for campervans and caravans while people visit Stewart Island as long as they stay either before or after their trip. Thanks again and hope to see you in the south again one day

So nice to be in a setting out of town but close enough to go in & get supplies or go out for dinner.
Was in one of the motel units which was perfect for what I needed. Only bad thing was the walls are fairly thin & you can hear the voices etc in the next door room.
The room was clean & tidy with a heater & electric blankets on the bed.
Really nice being close to Anderson Park for a walk around.
On arrival was welcomed by nice friendly reception staff (young german girl) who was just nice & pleasant to talk with.

Excellent all round. We stayed in an modern, averaged price unit, fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. It was cold weather and frosty but despite this, there were quite a few motor home travellers in the grounds which are spacious, semi rural, and nicely kept. It's a good place to stay on the outskirts of Invercargill city but where a supermarket is close by.

Thank you for taking the time to write this nice review. We think our park has the perfect location to relax in a rural area but still have everything you need and the city center handy. We are happy to read that you agree.

Excellent place to stay. Facilities were clean. Smaller camp ground but everything there that you needed. Campervan sites were close to the bathroom which was great in the pouring rain! Close to the city as well. Only thing lacking was no free WIFI

Thanks for taking the time to review you stay. Not sure what happened but all guests are normally given a voucher for free WiFi. We have just started a new office girl and she must have overlooked that. But thanks again

Don't stay here poor facilitys, poor laid out camp site. No site maps facilitys are lock early so unavailable. Wifi does not reach far from reception so not worth buying if you want more than 100mb. Drive to bluff or in town.

Sorry you never enjoyed your stay but thought it better to respond to the points you raised. We have had mostly very positive feedback about the layout of our park and without specifics its hard to respond to what you found wasn't suitable for you. Our facility block is unlocked all night and the only room that is looked is our TV room at 11 pm each evening. We do not have a site map as our park is quite small and we show everyone to their site or room. We offer unlimited WiFi and there are 5 points across the park that ensure coverage. We are still not on fiber but our line speed is very good at quiet times. We are more than happy for people to compare what we have to offer compared to other parks in the area and think we have a far superior product. It is a pity you never raised any of the points you have written about so we could have made sure you stay met your expectations.

This was our second stay, the accommodation is very clean and well equipped. A very quiet and well organised site. My wife had a nasty fall in Queenstown and the owners took it upon themselves to pop round to make sure she was ok. Even messaged once we got home to check she was ok. A very caring couple. If we get the chance to visit NZ again we will definitely stay here again.

We were pleased to hear that you got to enjoy the rest of your stay and trip back home. Its always hard when you have expereinces like you did and while we didnt do much to help we wanted to make sure you knew you could ask if you needed anything. We enjoyed meeting you both and hearing some of your travel experiences and hope you make it back down to NZ one day

Had a decent nights sleep at this place, staff are super friendly! Situated on the outskirts of town it's perfect for star gazing at night! Surprised to pay $1 to use a towel to shower, with 11 of us on a 3 week tour of the South Island we stayed in 11 motels/Top 10's and found this is the only place to charge us. Not sure if it's the norm but not a biggie. Overall it was a good stay.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We do have a full range of units with various options and they are priced accordingly. Our deluxe cabins which you stayed in dont have towels supplied to give customers the opportunity to save money by bringing their own. The option is to hire a towel and we think the $1 fee is extremely generous. But yhe main thing is you had a good stay and even got to see the stars which has been a bit hit and miss this summer.

This was our second visit to a Top 10 Holiday Park, nice to see the Top 10 sign at the entrance. We booked for a one night stay in a camper van powered site. Loved the rural surroundings. The receptionist was friendly and gave us an option of a sunny or shaded site, which was appreciated, shaded site near amenities was chosen. The communal showers/toilets were clean and tidy, we didn't use the kitchen or coin operated laundry, but did see other patrons using the amenities. Had a lovely quiet sleep, when hubby finally stopped snoring. Left early the next morning for our next destination. Wouldn't hesitate to re-book here, if we ever find our selves in Invercargill in the future.
Invercargill is such a nice place to visit, initially travelled to Bluff, to eat oysters and take photos at Stirling Point, prior to going to Invercargill Top 10 Holiday Park,

We chose this site after reading an article how much they were struggling due to covid 19. We are fully self contained and could have easily freedom camped down the road, but thought we'd do the right thing and put some dollars back into the community, wish we hadn't botjered. The site itself is ok, it's clean and the grounds are well kept. Basic kitchen, showers are ok but the shower room itself is very cold and lights were on a timer so ended up getting dried in semi darkness. However could have overlooked all of this if we hadn't had such an unwelcoming reception by the owner. She should probably leave the reception duties to her husband who was much nicer and was happy to stop for a chat. Contrast this to the Coalc Bay campsite we stayed the previous week, for $20 a night for a powered site for 2, less than half price and there is no competition. Would happily drive the extra few miles to stay at Colac Bay.

Sorry to hear we never met your expectations. Little unsure on how to respond as seems you have got quite a bit wrong but will give it a go. Lights are not on timers but sensors and if there is no movement for 5 minutes they do switch off. But if you then move they would go back on again. You did stay in the middle of the winter and things are cold down this way. Blocks have heaters in them but we do realise when few people are around it can get cold. We do have two kitchens and two ablution blocks . It has been an extremely stressful time both during and after lockdown for everyone and the requirements to keep everything clean and hygienic with the constant worry of the virus taking off again has taken its toll. We are not struggling and the article was a little misleading. My point was that it will be a struggle going forward for all tourism businesses.

I am also a bit confused as to whether we were staying in a ''hotel'' or in a ''camp-like'' facility.
