From check in to check out I found the experience good. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed itself was a bit hard and resembled a place that needs an upgrade, however my sleep was not terrible. Noise from neighbouring restaurants was a little annoying.

Booked this place hoping it would be good and it was! Parking right in town, located right in town centre close to many fast food and restaurants. Rooms are massive with neat high stud ceilings. Ended up booked an extra night because it was nice and handy. Didn’t like the shower over the bath but that didn’t put me off

We stayed here for two nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check in was friendly and fast. The staff kindly acknowledged our prior request for a room on the second floor. Our room 209 was clean, comfortable and quiet. Situated at the rear of the building on a corner meant we heard very little street noise and had plenty of natural light. The location of the Quest is great, right in the centre of town with numerous eating options within easy walking distance. Parking is free and about a 30 second walk from the main door. We couldn’t have asked for better and would definitely stay again.

Really enjoyed staying here. Fantastic location- 2 minutes to Kmart in one direction & the town shops outside the door in the other direction. We did not find the boy racers too annoying as they quietened from about 9.30pm on the Friday & Saturday nights we stayed. Full sized washing machine & dryer were excellent. Interesting building with lovely hosts.

Modern, spacious and high quality rooms. Like other reviews the boy racer noise was definitely a downer. It was appreciated that earplugs were supplied in the room so obviously previous feedback has been taken on board. Staff were friendly and helpful and I’d happily stay here again especially considering how tired and dated most other accommodation in the city is for the same price.

Lovely warm, well appointed room, central and great value. We would stay again. Comfy bed, generous space, plenty of natural light and nice furnishings and good bathroom. The car park is around the side of the building but we could also park and unload out front. Appreciated the luggage trolley and lift. The only negative was a fair bit of car noise maybe because it was Saturday night but I put in earplugs and slept well.

We booked a studio for one night as we were attending the Civic Theatre for a performance - just 5 mins walk away. This hotel has a carpark (outdoor) right next door which is free so this was ideal. We were warmly greeted at the Reception and told we had been upgraded to a 1 bedroom suite - what a nice surprise! We went to our room on the 1st level (only 3 levels in total) and found a lovely room just as the photos on Trip Advisor show. It's an older building that has been renovated but it's been a very good renovation and everything was great with lovely decor. Shortly after arriving, a small milk was delivered for teas/coffees. It was a Saturday night, so the only downside is that being on a main road, we did hear some 'boy racers' up and down the road into the night. I still managed to sleep but was aware of the noises. Not sure if this is just a Saturday night thing in Invercargill! Quest is a serviced apartment so has a small kitchenette and washer and dryer as well and well equipped. The wifi was easy and fast and it had a good range of TV channels on the 2 TVs - one in the bedroom and one in the loungeroom. We booked direct with the hotel and it was NZ$129. Fantastic value. We will definitely stay here again if visiting Invercargill.

The staff were really friendly, the room spacious and comfortable and with a generally good selection of amenities. Quest is very convenient to restaurants and to the theatre we had booked. The only downside was being on the Invercargill main street on a Saturday night with the local hoons driving up and down in loud cars through to 4am. The noise did disturb sleep a little.
