Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Room is spacious and shower area is large and easy to use. Bed is comfortable. Gym sadly only opens at 6am but is quite well equipped even though is small - 1 treadmill. Lobby lounge looks modern and quite nice to have a glass of wine. They've a sky bar at level 7, unfortunately I didn't get there as it is only open Fri and Sat. What I do not like about this place is the room seems to have forgotten a coffee table. It tries to be a bit of artwork hence things are minimalist that we've to use the ironing board when we sit on sofa having a glass of wine or looking at iPad. Bath tub is also more like an ornament then to use it. Zero place to hang your gym gear if you've wash and wish to hang to dry. They've the irritating locked in hangers (your guest still steal hangers these days?). Staff are all very pleasant. Overall I guess is the nicest hotel in Invercargill?

Hi SuperShan Thank you for staying with us and I am glad you relaxed in the beautiful lobby area. The gym is well equipped with 3 cardio machines, weights rig, multiple sets of dumb bells, mats and Swissballs and is available 6am -10pm. Our level 7 bar. 360 is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday with Two Doors Down open 7 nights a week and Niche bar open Tuesday - Saturday. All suites have a coffee table and the team would have been happy to assist if you needed an additional table. We have a fully equipped guest laundry which is more suitable for laundry than hanging damp clothes in the wardrobe. The bath is fully functional and many guests use them. I am sorry that we didn't meet your expectations but happy you found the team pleasant. Regards Alannah

We made a last minute booking for the Langlands & it was well worth the stay. It’s in a good location with onsite parking available for a fee. The room was spacious with a very good bathroom. Wifi was good. We decided to have dinner at the hotel & it was excellent with great service. Well worth the stay in a modern new hotel!

Excellent location, new and beautifully decorated. 360 bar gives an over view of the city and is very stylish. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place was full and the parking reflected that. Over all we enjoyed our stay and would return. Some street noise at night but it is in the centre of town so can be expected.

Great stay, thank you Langlands team. Good sized room, comfortable bed and nice shower. Love the creamy milk in the fridge. The only thing missing was a newspaper in the morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back another time.

Room was beautiful, well appointed and very clean. Bedding felt indulgent, with relaxing textiles/fabrics. Great bathroom and toiletries. Service was also great at reception & in F&B - even in the morning everyone said hello and was really friendly. Thomas remembered our dinner and drinks order which was great, and rectified mistakes or issues with professionalism. A really lovely stay and would def recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at the new Langlands Hotel in Invercargill for our wedding Anniversary in January. Our room was lovely, so well appointed and comfortable. We visited the rooftop bar for cocktails and also Meld for dinner. So many great eating places you don’t have to leave the hotel to enjoy a wonderful time away. Highly recommend to everyone.

Very nice modern hotel with no kids which is great. Great shower, big mirror in bathroom, comfy bed, big smart tv that does chromecasting etc easily. Really helpful friendly staff, nice food. Near other food options and cafe. Only improvements could be more sound proofing of windows when cars go down the main street and more vege/vegan options on room service menu.

We were gifted the room and made the most of the experience. Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom and towels. Tea and coffee making in the room. Nice couch and extra chair plus a small desk. Not much of an outlook but great at the 360 bar. Fairly quiet with just a little traffic noise early in the night. Very good breakfast at Brewed and great coffee.

Hi Robyn. It's great to read you have a great stay with us and enjoyed the little extra's in our rooms. 360 has a great vast view being on the 7th floor. Being centrally located in the CBD does mean the view for the majority of our accommodation is of the cityscape. So glad you enjoyed Brew'd cafe also. Best regards Alannah and the team

2 very comfortable beds, lovely room, nice bar, excellent food. great to have a served as a cafe style with superb food. A shame I could not plug my HDMI computer feed into the TV, as it appeared to be blocked. small issue for most, but many guest would like to use VPN to view their local TV.
