Quiet well-maintained park easy 800m walk into the city. Powered and unpowered sites. Quality bedroom units with bedding, TV, heater etc, 2 with ensuites and 2 without bedding for the more budget conscious travellers. High pressure showers, very well equipped kitchen-dining-lounge area, laundry, free Wifi voucher. Three things our guests regularly comment are how much they enjoy being able to park-up and stroll into the city, the very high standard of cleanliness and how very comfortable and relaxed they feel staying with us. We really are en route to everywhere! Just metres from the Southern Scenic Route - east to the Catlins & west to Fiordland, State Highway 1 - north to Dunedin & and south to Bluff and the Stewart Island ferry terminal, and just a few blocks from the city centre. Come check us out. We look forward to welcoming you!

I have been reading some comments before I was going to review. I stayed in a cabin I sis not have any problem with the units. It was clean and tidy. The manager went ou of his way to help us with our questions. I highly recommend this place

This camp has very friendly managers. The space is not big but I think it's cute and OK for what you want. Showers and toilets are clean. A code for the showers is fine and 7 minutes is enough time to do your hair and wash yourself. We stayed here 3 nights and we will stay an other night when we come back from Stewart Island. The location is excellent. Just walk to the downtown area and all the shops and restaurants are there. I love the white cat. He just popped into our van and enjoyed our company. I recommend this camp.

Not one to usually complain, but we should have kept driving. Very old and run down, need to enter codes to use a hot shower which only last 7 minutes. Need to enter code for kitchen. Broken hairdryer. Tight parking for van. Very basic facilities. Old cars and junk on premises.

Just stayed one night here in a campervan after a long trip. I agree with other posts not like the photos. But all in all amenities were clean but dated. Pretty much old school camp ground Large kitchen and lounge
