A cozy and spacious atmosphere, the room was scented with essential oils and a lovely fire place that was super warm. There is TV in both room and also in the living room. There is a small sitting area in between all the houses. You can park your car beside the small sitting area or along the street.
The beds are super comfortable to sleep in, there is also a washing machine and a dryer to do your laundry. The shower pressure was good and we had a good shower. Bath gel and shower including a toothbrush and also makeup remover is given.
The room include free breakfast with consist of bread, jam, peanut butter, chocolate, chips, juices, milk and yogurts.
It is a 5mins drive from the accommodation to the supermarket and right beside the world of transport museum. Check in was simple, we arrived late. Hence we give a call to the number that was provided and they guide us a pin code to open the locker for the card key.

This was an unexpected treasure to find in Invercargill. Down a quiet street, Transport World is right over the road with its fabulous restaurant The Grille.
Far superior to any other accommodation options I could find, this place was in a league of its own. The pictures looked nice, but when we arrived we realised they really didn't do it justice. Everything has been done to a high standard - comfortable beds, luxurious linen bedding, fluffy cloud feather duvets and pillows, impeccably curated decor that looked like I wish my house could look. The kitchen is high end and the living room was so inviting we just wanted to sink into the sofa with the luxurious throw blankets and enjoy the fire.
Housekeeping was immaculate. It looked brand new inside, as though we were the first guests to every stay.
We ended up in Invercargill after an accident in Te Anau landed one of us in hospital. I was stuck in Invercargill at 9:00am looking for somewhere to park the injured party, who could not travel, while I returned to Te Anau to retrieve our luggage and bikes which had to be removed from our accommodation immediately as new guests were arriving. The Lodges hosts allowed me to check in at 10:00am and park up the injured, so I could make the five-hour round trip to Te Anau. This kindness made an extremely difficult situation manageable, and will always be remembered.

We could not fault anything about our stay at this luxurious accommodation.
Upon the excellent, friendly and accommodating welcome to the top of the line amenities offered we could not have wanted for anything more.
The unit we stayed in was tastefully decorated, very modern, and had a Hampton feel about it.
The king size bed was heavenly comfortable and it was a treat to sleep in linen sheets and duvet covers.
We chose to get takeaways, although there was a full kitchen, because we couldn’t resist a night in front of the fire watching a movie catching our breath from a busy road trip around the South Island.

All I can say is WOW!!!! well thought out luxury at its best. Everything was of the highest standard . I travel the country and spend around 150 nights per year in accomodation is this is by far the best value for money I have encountered. The communication from the motel was great and I just enjoyed the stay, Thank-you Karina!!!

Totally agree with all the reviews on here, fantastic place to stay. After spending two weeks staying in hotel rooms it was a real treat to stay somewhere that felt like a home from home. Every detail has been thought of even down to hair straighteners in the bathroom. As the weather wasn’t great in the evenings and we had had long days exploring the area, we used Delivereasy for food in the evenings which meant we could relax in the lodge. The continental breakfast was more than enough for us but if you do want more the kitchen is well stocked for you to cook something. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was fab. All in all we couldn’t fault it!

We stayed 3 nights in the Lollies unit. Impeccably styled with all the creature comforts of home-and more! Loved the shower, underfloor bathroom heating, daily continental breakfast, very comfortable beds and on it goes! We had one particularly cold frosty night while there and the heatpump, gas fire, and heaters in each bedroom kept us toasty warm. A very convenient but quiet location and we’d be back in a heart beat if we could.

Amazing again! We stayed here last year and included Invercargill in our trip this year just so we could stay again! It is hands down one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. From your first moment in the apartment you are greeted by a lovely scented room courtesy of a Scentsy warmer. The decor is gorgeous and themed to the name of the room - we were in Oyster this year and Feathers last year. The couch is comfy and the gas fire wonderful to curl up in front of on a winters night. The bedding is super luxe and the bathroom with underfloor heating is lovely. There is a decent kitchenette and continental breakfast is provided. Great off street parking. We used DeliverEasy for restaurant quality food delivered to our door so we didn’t have to leave the room in the evening!

The Lodges are the best property we have stayed at within NZ. A big statement I know, but I cannot emphasize how impressed we have been. We stayed in the Feathers suite (1 bedroom apartment) the 8th & 9th Feb 2023 and have been blown away with the level of detail that have gone into the apartment. Super comfortable and well appointed throughout right down to the sheets and towels. Generous continental breakfast provided daily. Nothing hasn’t been thought of and all the the staff we’ve dealt with been exceptional. Do not look anywhere else if you’re in Invercargill - go and experience it yourself - and make sure you find time to have a spa bath (so big it’s basically a spa pool!). Seriously a lot of operators could learn a thing or two (or twenty ..) from the Lodges. Wow, just wow ☺️

We booked a trip away to invercargiĺ for my birthday treat. We were booked into the feather lodge. This was amazing so clean and tidy. Boiling water out of the taps no need for jug. Gas fire place which was great as it wasn't very good weather outside Big spa bath , large shower and a really comfortable bed. Thoroughly recommend.

What a nicely presented place with all the extras. The hosts Di & Colin were welcoming and really made us feel appreciated as guests. The little touches made such a difference. All the mod cons in these warm apartments. WE WILL BE BACK!!
