We stayed here one night for a business trip the location is convenient the friendly staff but the rooms need a deep renovation. The rooms are clean and spacious the kitchen provided but now the doors and windows fall apart. Knobs that remain in the hand doors that do not close. That's too bad. Economic price

difficult to get accommodation in dunedin. We were two families and that complicated it even more. but this place was between strange and ugly... the distribution was very bad. The main room on the first floor, without a bathroom on the same floor. No plugs near the bed or nightstands. The ground floor was more logical. room with two beds. bathroom quite good. the shower without problem. rest well. complete the kitchen. The location was not the best either. It was two nights so nothing serious but I would look for a better place.

Ok so not too bad for cleanliness but... Cupboards dont close Lights, some dont work at all Bed had roll together Sofas stained and had it Bathroom a rotten mouldy mess. Gaps above from door were massive and draughty.
Has the makings of a nice wee room if the owners gave a toss. I'm pretty sure they saved the worst room for booking.com customers. Probably wouldn't be back or reccomend.

We had booked what's falsely advertised as a superior apartment. Unfortunately this was misleading. With chipping paint on walls, holes and burn marks on carpet, creaking floor boards that would wake the dead, leaking window frames, holes in guttering which causes dripping all night, dated and stained carpets,no sky and only rabbit ears for TV reception (fuzzy picture),very cheap utensils (jug leaked). Its a shame that poor maintenance has cost this motel greatly and after reading reviews from half a decade ago about same things management couldn't care less.Although priced reasonably we won't be back and would get better value from a tent.

Apartment very large and comfortable, at a reasonable price. The kitchen is very well equipped. The position is OK, close to the university and not so far from the city centre. The sofa was a bit too old

A pleasant hotel / motel located close to the city centre but far away to be nice and quiet ... Warm, cosy, wonderfully priced ...
Our room had a new bathroom and make sure you don't have anyone above your level so that you don't have to hear their foot steps

We booked for three nights in April 2014, but only stayed for one! An overwhelming musty smell greeted us when we walked into the room. We found broken floorboards in every room, bar the bathroom. Overall appearance was dirty and uncared for, staff seemed surprised when we checked out and mentioned the above problems!

We had a two bedroom apartment directly upstairs to the reception and it was fantastic. Massive rooms and very clean bathroom. Big lounge and dining area with a full kitchen. Free washer and dryer in a separate unit. Free wifi restricted to one device which is a little hassle. Would definitely stay here again. Fantastic place and close to town and supermarkets, just a 5min drive away.

I stayed here in February 2014 for almost 2 weeks on business. There was mold in the bedroom and all of the rooms had a musty damp smell. The rooms are very old fashioned as is the furniture. I stayed during orientation week at the local Uni so there was quite a bit of noise. On the upside the staff were pleasent and free wifi was provided.
