We got into Dunedin late at night and the person on reception was kind enough to stay open a little longer until we got there. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom had a heated floor. The free wifi was by far the best we've had in our 9 nights in NZ and worked with our Australian eduroam account.

We had traveled to Dunedin for one night to watch the Otago Highlanders play their final pool game (they won). This hotel was 4 minutes walk from New Zealand's premier indoor stadium. The rooms were very large, suprisingly quite considering they are dead centre in the University precinct and many of the students would have been to the game. The rooms were well appointed whilst not exceptional. The guests parking is not secure but ample, the reception is not always manned. If you are in Dunedin for the Stadium (sport or concerts) or for University business I couldn't think of a better place to stay.

We came to Dunedin for meetings at the university. Booking was an easy process. Our arrival was late but we were meet by friendly front desk staff who showed us the amenities and to our room. Great facilities for coffee and tea and a lounge for relaxing in the hotel. Also within walking distance from town and the university. Great stay.

An opportunity to stay on campus, hosted by staff of the University. Staff are very friendly and knowledgable and relaxed, but highly professional. Rooms and communal spaces are comfortable. There's a discount if you're alumni. It's very nice to walk around campus and sample student life or look at your old flat.

The place is just a 10min walk to Central Dunedin, with the Uni right on its doorstep. Rooms are ok and comfortable, although lack of AirCon for hot days and nights was not wonderful. Afternoon sun beats into west facing rooms and windows dont open too far so took a while for room to cool.
Happy staff and very accommodating with any needs. Internet access is great so for work this was great

An older building on the University campus but fitted out as a modern hotel. Comfortable rooms well serviced. Continental breakfast. Not for the family but ideal for visiting academics, parents of students and those with business in the University or town. Easy walking distance to most important places although quite hilly. Nearby students can be a bit noisy.

We arrived on a rainy Friday afternoon and were made to feel most welcome. Check-in was easy peasy and we were in our rooms within minutes. The room furniture is all heavy wood, making it seem somewhat dated...but also a bit like an academic retreat.
I was most impressed with the heated bathroom floor (truly something one hardly sees in any hotel) and a very nicely designed and spacious updated bathroom. Rooms are well... roomy and well appointed.
This low-rise property is 3-4 blocks off Dunedin's main (George) street but truly adjacent to campus (a lovely walk).

The location of Executive Residences is excellent for access to the university or stadium, but it is a reasonable walk to town. There is very little in the way of parking. Being on the edge of an industrial area and surrounded by student flats, I imagine it may get a bit noisy on the weekends, but was not a problem on a Wednesday or Thursday night.
The hotel itself is clean and tidy, and the management friendly and obliging. The rooms have good beds and the bathrooms are exemplary. The let down is the pillows; there is definite scope for some investment here.
The continental breakfast was good with various cereals, fruit, yogurt and breads. Orange juice and coffee was also available, though there was no cooked option.
Overall, a good place to stay. New pillows would make it a great place to stay.

I usually rate a hotel on the basis of its bed and shower but this one, in addition to having a great bed and shower, had two other rare things that I found fabulous - heated underfloor bathroom and a heated towel rack. They don’t sound like much, but the warm floor on cold mornings was wonderful. The heated towel rack was also wonderful for drying clothes washed overnight. Breakfast was just ok, adequate. Needs better coffee beans! Service good. Lounge and garden area were very nice, but didn’t get much time to enjoy.
