We had a one-bedroom apartment upstairs. Wow it was really spotless, the kitchen stainless steel bench was about four meters long it had a fridge, hot plate, everything you wanted. it was really decent place to stay, we were there two nights and yes if we went back to Dunedin that would be certainly the place we'd want to stay. Spotlessly clean, a big King bed and another bed in the lounge area with the couches. It was a special place that felt real homely.

We stayed in the new side, the villas. On arrival, Kevin was wonderfully welcoming with maps and advice. The Motel is a 10-15 minute walk to the Octagon on the main street. The Villa was well appointed, clearly newly refurbished, and immaculately cleaned. You can't ask for more. Thank you so much!

We were welcomed with a cozy room located on the bottom floor, the heaters left on prior to our arrival which was a nice warm surprise. Perfect for couples. My partner and I slept like babies the bed was very comfortable. We had access to Netflix. Great location to the University, botanic gardens, main student hub. Only fault would be our toilet made a funny noise in the mornings after flushing. Reasonably priced and just what we needed for our little weekend away.

This motel was spotlessly clean, which is more important to me than decor.
However, the decor was great, the bed very comfortable and the unit spacious.
Great size TV with netflix.
The staff member we dealt with was very helpful and pleasant. Not sure if she was the manager or not.
The city centre is within walking distance, and there are at least two good restaurants within 5 minutes walk. It is also handy to the hospital.
We will certainly stay here again.

Adequate motel on the main street just north of the CBD. The married couple on reception were friendly, knowledgeable and more than happy with all our requests. Parking is a little tight and the potential that you can't get a park during busy periods. We were fortunate we managed to get a parking spot each day but imagine that others may have missed out and had to park on the street. The rooms are large and adequate. Oldish style motel rooms but the bathroom for example was quite modernised. Beds were comfy and the reasonably sized kitchenette was handy too. Overall a more than pleasant enough stay and located in a great location close to all the attractions and restaurants.

Our studio room was very spacious! Plenty of room, spotlessly clean and with a good kitchenette for self catering including a two ring induction hob. We parked the car and walked everywhere in Dunedin although it may be a little far for some.
There’s a good laundry room on the ground floor. $4 for a wash and I can’t remember the price of a dry. Coins and powder available from reception if you don’t have any.
The wifi was superfast... well that’s what it felt like, but we had just come from Stewart Island :D
We had an extremely comfortable stay and would definitely stay here again.

Could not fault this establishment. The room itself was great - very spacious, modern furnishings, great amenities and spotlessly clean. The service however is what sets this place apart. After delayed flights and lost luggage we arrived in Dunedin exhausted and seriously disappointed in how our holiday had started. The lady who greeted us (I assume the owner, and so sorry we didn’t actually get a name) went above and beyond to help us and we could not be more grateful. Would highly recommend staying here if you are heading to Dunedin.

Lovely bathroom, awesomely comfy bed and unit was absolutely spotless. One interesting thing was a direct view from the kitchen window of helicopters landing on the roof of Dunedin Hospital. As they operate 24hrs then closing the windows that face it is a good idea! (Woke me at 2.30am because our bathroom window was open)

Stayed 2 nights in an upstairs unit. It was spacious with a large lounge, spacious kitchen and comfortable bed in a separate room.
Walking distance to the city centre with many eateries along the way. It is is a 5-minute walk to the fascinating Otago Museum.
Our bathroom had the mirror on the 'back wall' instead of above the vanity (because there was a window) making it inconvenient to wear my contact lens. The room did not have a box of tissues. Fortunately we came prepared. So, a couple of annoyances.
