      Stopover

      This is great valve for a 1 or 2 night stop as it is warm and bed comfortable.While the decor is a little dated it has everything you need.Staff were really helpful.I imagine it could be a little noisy but thick drapes help.

      Good location and nice and warm despite cold weather.

      Nice and warm with effective heat pump in very cold weather. Very quick to heat up. Good parking and handy location. We had to ask for a microwave which was supplied without fuss. Beds very comfortable. Compact but lots of cupboard space for bags.

      Stayed here for 2 nights while doing a roadie round the south island

      The room as tired. There were a couple of stains on the net curtain right where you walked in which resembled blood. The bathroom light didn't work and neither did the internet. The toilet cistern went all night so could hear the sound of dripping...More

      Cold night

      Located next to a beachfront bar (room 1) the heat pump was asthmatic to give it praise the room was cold with heat pump running on full all night - room stunk of cigarette smoke which stuck with me for the next two days
