The Otago Village is a perfect place for those wanting to be halfway on foot between the central part (Octagon) and the University with its Campus and Central Library. The hotel is very nice, well maintained, clean, with an apartment wing (wing S) that has a small kitchen in the room (sink, 4 burner stove, large fridge and some kitchen utensils, cutlery, glasses, mugs) and another wing of rooms (Wing A) that have no kitchen. The apartment is not very large but is quite adequate size for a couple to stay for a week comfortably. Everything is very clean and works perfectly. The reception staff is very friendly and attentive and always ready to meet your needs. The common part has a large communal kitchen and ping pong area and other amusements. A room for two persons is about 110 NZD.
