Detailed Reviews
Excellent stay, we were upgraded when we arrived for no extra cost our unit was very comfortable and was spotlessly clean. For a busy part of town and the units all being full it was very quiet. We will return and would recommend these motels as excellent value for money.

I stayed in the Alan Court Motel with my husband for 2 nights. The manager was very helpful and friendly. The Motel is clean and tidy, close to the Hospital, shops and restruants. Great bed, we would go back.

We have stayed twice here. Both times were excellent in all respects except that the second was in the studio across from the office and on the street corner. The unit was noisy at night due to the main (George?) street, both road and foot traffic. Drapes are also required for privacy in that the unit is ground floor. Our first stay was in an upstairs unit bordering the side street and noise and privacy concerns were negligible. If the corner unit were the only one available we would probably still stay here but bring ear plugs and close the drapes.

Owner cancelled booking with a "false" excuse, which was disproved by my bank and the accommodation booking service. I can only speculate that he was able to get more $$$ from someone else as Dunedin was booked out due to a concert. Not a "business practice" that I will support and will always look elsewhere.

This is quite an old motel, not well insulated, very loud plumbing noises, one small heater is not enough for July weather in the South. The toilet in our unit could do with a 'deep' clean.
Although there is sky, there is far from the full gambit of channels, a poor selection. The channel list it the motel info book was certainly no where near what was provided.

We were in Dunedin for the P!nk concert and had been told by another motel owner that the Allan Court had had a cancellation for that night. When we enquired he said it was a 2 night minimum stay and we only wanted the one night. He then changed his mind and said one night was fine and it would be $500 for the night! It's a 4 star motel, definitely not The Hilton - we didn't even pay that when we stayed at The Hilton in Queenstown. Greed is what it is, plain and simple. AND to top it off he put the phone down on us 🤬 Shame on you Allan Court Motel.

We had a booking in June and it was cancelled as the manager said we were a group booking and didn’t want our custom as we would bring covid with us!!! I explained that we were not a group booking and we’re just visiting Dunedin for a event. He said he didn’t want our business and had to cancel.
Be warned with this motel that he could cancel your booking at any time. Certainly not good for business.

Old but not bad. not ideal for a long stay. cooker available but grill function poor and no freezer. also no cooker fan extraction so one bedroom apartments will hold cooking smells. servicing good and service manager always available.

A old but comfortable motel, at walking distance from Dunedin downtown. Easy to find, with a private carpark, though not so large (but I had a SUV). The rooms are fairly large, but not so sunny; the kitchen is quite furnished.
Beds are clean and comfortable and the wifi is ok.

Stayed here for business was a tired hotel however it was very clean and today. Manager was very good and help-full George street is the best place to stay location wise. Suggestion at the very least sell bottles of water would be good.

Hi, I'm sorry we don't have airport to motel transportation. There are airport shuttle services available. You can book online. Google airportshuttledunedin,or supershuttle. You should have no trouble booking online. I am unable to send web links to these services through TripAdvisor. Look forward to meeting on the 30th.
Kind Regards,
Jeff,
