We received a very warm welcome on arrival which was much appreciated after we had been travelling overnight.
Our Studio Apartment was very clean, spacious with air conditioning, dishwasher, washer and dryer in the bathroom, iron and ironing board. The large bathroom was suitable for the disabled. Great towels and a heated towel rail.
The kitchen had a good sized fridge which is always appreciated when self catering.
Bed, linen and pillows were great. Only issue were the bedside lights which were not suitable for reading- a not uncommon problem.
Ramada Suites are close to the bus interchange and tram stops, and a supermarket is nearby.

Left behind phone charger and travel adapter. Staff immediately emailed me to inform me, appreciate their excellent service.
Everything works well in the Suites, including washer and dryer and there’s even has a dishwasher.

I booked this apartment so I was able to utilize cooking and washing facilities during the level 3 pandemic as it was centrally located to the CBD and walking distance to the christchurch women's hospital.
My 2 week stay was excellent and the room was A1 with all the mod cons someone would need.
James and Sharryn were amazing and I would thoroughly recommend the Ramada suites to anyone travelling to Christchurch

We stayed for 3 nights. The first room had a non-functioning dishwasher so we were quickly moved to a different room. The kitchen was very well equipped with good quality dishes, pots and utensils. The washer and dryer were excellent and the laundry soap was complimentary. Nice big bathroom, free wifi, free parking, close to everything. Only suggestion: the pillows on the bed were quite awful. Need to buy some new pillows, please.

First off the car park was a wind tunnel, it was freezing and windy.
The entrance was from a side door into a nondescript reception area however the person at reception was pleasant.
The walk through corridors and a lift was prison like… windows punctuated by bland walls and as I’m 160cm tall I couldn’t see through either window.
Our room on the 4th floor was small. We looked out towards the Cashmere area in the distance. If you look the other way I imagine that you’re looking at the build which is to be the stadium. I can imagine that the hotel will benefit from housing inebriated clientele attending events there. However I like a room that is fit for purpose and this room came up short by a mile. Brown and beige was a ghastly colour scheme that only reinforced the dreary layout. The kitchenette bench could’ve been a mere 30mins longer and been better, same with the vanity bench in the bathroom. Cutting the bench off nearly flush with the sink was cheap and unnecessary.
The one redeeming feature was that the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

Check in was very easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our suite was carpeted in the lounge and bedroom area which was pleasant. The kitchen area had a 2 ring induction hob,microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, large fridge and 3 place settings of crockery as well as pots and pans etc Dishwasher, laundry and washing up liquid was provided as was tea, coffee and hot chocolate. The lounge area had a large TV, effective AC and a table with chairs, there was a huge ceiling to floor window with views to the South. The bed was comfortable with lovely linens. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower unit and also washing machine and dryer. The WiFi was very good. We could easily walk to the centre from here.
We would definitely recommend this hotel as THE place to stay in Christchurch.

We spent 2 separate nights between our train trip. Excellent experience. Rooms clean. Great service. Nespresso machine in mini kitchen. Bedrooms comfortable. Washer dryer in large bathroom Easy late self check in. Walkable with many restaurant options nearby

Room, amenities, staffs all were great. Had a very good experience while staying in this facility. Eating places were found to be more at the Riverside market location which is little far from here. Otherwise, liked my staying here for two nights.

Excellent value! Kitchen, washing machine, dryer, free parking and our room was serviced daily. The property was immaculate as was our room. Location is central with New Regent St and Little High Eatery within walking distance. Book this property if you want nice, convenient accom at a bargain price.

With everything being a bit different, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was great that despite all of the new rules and restrictions, which this property is adhering to, that the check-in was still friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable. Was only booked for the one night and the hotels location was ideal, as it was very close to numerous cafes and restaurants and the local shopping, which meant I could maximise my short stay. Onsite car parking was free and that’s great and almost unheard of nowadays.
I did, inadvertently, lock myself out of my room rather late and so I reluctantly had to contact the hotel staff after hours and they very kindly sorted it out quickly and without a fuss, which was very much appreciated.
Check out the following day was also seem less. Thanks to the Ramada team, it was a great stay and I’ll be back.

The Ramada has 2 bedroom units, which I recomend that 3 adults use. Provides plenty of privacy. Especially if there is an amount of luggage. A great pleace to stay. Recomend you try dining at Madam Woo, which is a block away. But make a recomendation in advance. Great coffee shops on either side. Enjoy.

Hi, Thanks for your enquiry. All of our rooms have air conditioning/heating.
No pool or hot tub, but rooms (most i think) have reasonable cooking facilities - cooktop and some have an oven
Usually after 2.00 pm, the standard time. I checked in at 11.00 am because the room was ready. If you contact Ramada by email or phone, they could give you a more accurate check- in time. I found the hotel to be quite flexible. This was in the month of April 16.
