Stayed here recently and the accommodation was great. Older motel units, refreshed, very clean, roomy and good sound proofing (couldn't hear the neighbours )
Owners friendly and helpful. Excellent location on main road expected it up be noisy at night but it wasn't.On a regular bus route which is a bonus. Nearby parks for a morning stroll out if traffic. Great motel great spot. Love that you can bring your canine.

This is our second visit as a family to this motel and it was as good as the first.
Owners are lovely and nothing was a problem. Room was big and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed and super quiet even though it’s on a busy road. Double glazing makes it very quiet. This is definitely our go to in Christchurch and good location and price.

Love this place, close to lots of amenities, very dog friendly, lovely garden for dogs to have a sniff around, super friendly gorgeous office doggie who loves pats and scratches. A lovely park around the corner for dogs to run around in. Very close to a great bar/restaurant. Great parking.

Found is accommodation very good! Donna and Gary were very friendly and have the room had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable and plenty of room for the 5 of us. The location isn’t far from many restaurant options either.

We stayed here 3 nights & highly recommend it. Very clean rooms. Donna was very helpful & understanding - this was not a holiday but a sad trip. We had ‘family unit’.
The outside seating at front & back was very handy & pleasant.
Thank you Donna.

Very basic motel unit but just ideal for our short stay in Christchurch. Rooms are small and relatively clean. Towels supplied each day but rooms not services. Ok for a short stay whilst in Christchurch

Getting any kind of hotel in Christchurch is very, very tough since the earth quake. All of the hotels in the area share a reservation system, so if you find someone nice they can tell you who has availaiblity. We got this one within 10 min of someone else cancelling a reservation.. yes it is that tight. Room was very clean.. but it is a 1-2 star experience.. I don't recommend staying anywhere in christchurch for long.. go outside the city if you have longer stays in mind. This is a very nice place.. but not somewhere you want to do anything but sleep. Just 2 weeks prior a family had been living in our unit for the last 12 months.. wow.. that is tough.

I searched internet for suitable motel which had a bath (as I have arthritis). Also, on wotif this place was advertised with inclusions of: "excellent & sunny quiet room. Enjoy a drink on the balcony & watch the world go by" We had a downstairs small unit, no outside area, no parking outside. NO BATH. When I went back to the office the guy there didn't really care at all & did not offer any alternative. That is why I am writing this review. The stairs to the upstairs rooms was right outside our room so it was noisy with people going up and down. This property is right next door to a 24hr petrol station. The curtains in the unit were thin & didn't reach the floor, so lights came into the room during the night. The price on Wotif was actually higher than the "rackrate" if I'd walked in off the street. I don't think this is good enough for trusting travellers/bookers.

Room was perfect size for family of 4. Facilities were ok as we only had one night. There was no milk for coffee which was a shame and there was some debris left on the patio set outside. WE only required one night as our plane landed late and were not able to pick up camper van until next day so it did the job.
