We were upgraded to a larger suite by the most pleasant owner as they had less bookings at the time we were there. It was clean, actually spotless, it was roomy, nice spa bath which we didn't use as we just had showers. Really nice and lots of really good water pressure. Good parking right outside the door.

Had a great experience at Rosewood Court Motel for 4 nights. The place was cleaned every day to a high standard and very warm. The shower pressure was amazing. A very comfy wee unit that also supplied a lot of cooking utensils and items which is unlike a lot of motels these days. The service was amazing, the host is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend to anyone and will be staying here again.

Friendly, enthusiastic hosts David & Suen! The room had everything we needed and the hosts were very accommodating. There is a small wardrobe, a round table with two chairs, a sofa, a desk, a TV, wi-fi that works, and a small kitchen. Oh, and a WHIRLPOOL.
The parking space is generous, I don't know if we came during low season but we always had a spot. The location was decent, a 20-minute walk to the downtown area but you can also take a bus. I prefer it this way because it was quite quiet at night and I slept like a baby.
All in all very pleasant and chill stay with friendly hosts.

Spent a night here with my partner. A friend came over for a visit. I used the jacuzzi and placed some tea light candles around the bath and on the windowsill. I also had the TV playing on the music channel (it was 9pm). When I got out of my bath at 10 I was called not even a minute later by reception to state that candles was against the rules (wasnt listed anywhere) and my guest needed to be gone at 10, when on the wall of the room it stated guests were welcome until 11. Also got a noise complaint about the music, should not be listed as having sound proof rooms if you can't play any music at 9 at night (was only on 10 on the volume).
This morning the room was checked by the owner and he accused me of smoking in the bathroom (apparently someone else saw me) which was a total lie as none of us had a smoke while we were there.
Found it very creepy he was keeping track of what was going on when I was in the bath. Would definitely not stay there again.

Dear my Guest, I would like to let you know common sense as a normal. 1. The motel facilities could be used by the guest only.(Our spa is not a public bath.) 2. Any sound proof wall or door can not proof your noise and music. 3. No one is allowed to use any kind of fire in the guest room for fire regulation. 4 .We cleaned all motel site every day and night, twice a day. We found cigarette butts just underneath your spa room window. 5. After your check-out, we found heaps of candle dripping and our staff spent 1 hour for removing it. Int hat case, I could charge penalty but I just ignored. Please definitely don't come our motel again. Many thanks.

Rosewood Court may not look like much but it's one of those gems that make one's trip not just trouble-free but very pleasant. Everyone we dealt with who worked there was very helpful and went the extra mile to assist even with the language barrier (we spoke very little English). The room was well appointed, clean, quiet and we had very restful nights. The motel is conveniently located: there are restaurants and other shops nearby, including a little supermarket. Bus access to central Christchurch is also a short walk away, unless one prefers to walk the easy couple of Kms. I'd recommend this motel under the current management.

Very welcoming hosts and extremely tidy and well-appointed units which are kept spotlessly clean. Very close to city centre. Road noise did not seem to be an issue. We had both single and two bedroomed units and both were spacious enough.

We felt very welcome and looked after by our lovely host. The room were spotless, spacious and quiet. Great layout in the 2 bedroom unit with good lounge space and well equipped kitchen. We stayed 2 nights and found it suited our needs perfectly. We’ll definitely be going back.

A big Thank you to Sue and David for an excellent comfortable 3 night stay at Rosewood Court. Very friendly hosts and everything was spotless and very comfortable. We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. Sue helped us use the onsite laundry facilities. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and loved the spa bath at the end of the day sightseeing. The owner was very friendly. The room, while a little dated, was great for the price - especially with the spa bath included. The room was also spotless. Town is a little bit of a walk away, but the spa made it all worthwhile. Handy to Edgeware village if you need to do any grocery shopping.
