The perfect location for your next stay in Christchurch with airport transfers, free on-site car-parking and very quiet units with superbly comfortable King or Super-king beds. Overseas guests who may not be familiar with NZ motel accommodation will find our units very well equipped with excellent cooking facilities and Air-conditioners. Our Reception is open until 9pm each day so guests arriving after that are provided with an access code to collect their unit key. Please advise when booking if you will be arriving late to ensure this code is obtained as there is a charge for assistance after 9pm.

We stayed in the two bedroom unit and it was just like it was fully furnished. It had full sets of cutlery and everything you would need. There was even a rice cooker. Full oven and full sized fridge/freezer. The king size bed was so comfortable. There was 2 leather sofas and an outside courtyard with outside dining furniture to eat outside. There was a guest laundry with free washing machine access and only $2 for the dryer. This motel us close by the airport and us a perfect base after your flight or like us a place to spend the night in comfort before we flew home.

We only had a few hours here as we arrived late and left early. However we just made it in time for the pickup shuttle on arrival. Just ring from the airport. Driver very pleasant and helpful. Not much choice of eating places nearby but the Thai restaurant offers a free shuttle there and back or delivery. We had a delicious meal delivered to our room. The room was very well appointed with two hot plates, microwave, coffee plunger and crockery. Bed very comfortable with lovely crisp sheets and the towels in the bathroom thick and soft. All in all a good overnight stop!

Very convenient to stay close to the airport especially if you have a very early flight. Complimentary shuttle does not apply due to the early hour but they manage to book a taxi which arrived on time. Typical motel, in the middle of nowhere, without any dining facility around except of a close hotel. We recommend to buy something to eat/drink prior to your arrival as they don't even have any beverages option. The room was clean and spacious, but impersonal.

We needed a motel close to the airport before flying out of Christchurch the following morning. The Airport Christchurch Motel was perfect. Located close to the airport, it has large, clean well appointed rooms including a hob and a great walk-in shower. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us advise on local places to eat. The free shuttle to the airport the following morning was also extremely helpful. And all this for a very competitive price. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the motel part and the room was spotless and quiet. We requested a handicap room and it had all the accessable items we requested. The motel is close to the airport, restaurants and lots of tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed for only one night before setting off for our trip. The service was perfect, owners were extremely helpful, delivered us to the airport car rental yard at no cost. The room was fully stocked, clean and spacious, all positives.

The room was clean and comfortable however the shower was over a bath which we had specifically asked not be the case. We arrived after hours and the arrangements for accessing the room were good. The motel served its purpose in that it was located near the Christchurch airport.

Instructions for late night access were easy to follow. I felt the third bed should have been set up ready to use rather than us having to move chairs etc to be able to set it up (especially as it was know we would not get there until 1am). Otherwise clean and tidy - fine for a 9 hour stay.

So many motels I stay at these days are run down, tired and often dirty. This was not the case for Airport Christchurch Motel. Rooms are warm, clean and our room included a great kitchen with full sized appliances. Nice and close to the airport and easy access to the city.

Just advise us and we will put your keys in a secure lock box and advise you of the code. We will also put milk in the fridge and draw the curtains etc.

Thank-you for letting us know that you will be arriving after our normal office hours we will leave your named unit key in our secure black lock-box which is located on the wall next to Reception. The combination for access will be 5421. We will leave a light on in your unit and milk in your fridge.
We would suggest that on your arrival at Christchurch Airport you choose a Gold Band taxi as we have an agreed rate with them of $16 to and from the airport. If there are none available on the rank, call them on their free-call number which is 0800 795 795.
Hi Les. Taxis are plentiful at the airport. We recommend Gold Band Taxis as they offer our guests a capped rate of no more than $16 (paying by cash). The journey takes less than 5 min. Let us know if you have any further questions.

We operate our own shuttle service the same hours as our Reception is open i.e. 7am to 9pm weekdays and 8am to 9pm weekends & Public Holidays.
