im a repeat customer. very easy to get to the motel from the airport, about 10 min. check in was fast and no problems. area is very quiet and close to the main roads ( hwy 1 and 76). if u need snacks there is a gas station nearby. shower was great and the shampoo was terrific. wifi password is on the wall of the room and is very fast. easy to email and stream shows

The room was very sub-standard. The carpets were stained, worn and loose, the chair cushions were stained, curtains were dirty, the kitchen joinery was water damaged and drawers and cupboards didn’t close properly, fixtures had obviously been removed from walls and holes not patched or repaired. The bathroom floor felt sticky, there were spiderwebs and dead flies on walls near the ceilings. We had prepaid, at a high price, for two nights but were not prepared to spend a second night in the rooms so checked out a day early. The lady in attendance was very nice and helpful but this could not compensate for the poor quality of the room. We often use motels but this was, by far, the worst we have ever encountered. It was horrible.

It was very clean and organized. The hosts were very kind and helpful. They assisted us throughout our stay and were very generous. Will definitely visit again! The place was close to the airport and the house had all the necessary amenities.

Every thing is good, clean, bed is OK. No far from supermarket, restaurants and Christchurch Airport. Quite, good value for money for overnight stay. A few Laundry around. Car park in hotel. Nothing we don't like.

Was worried when I saw only 3 dots........... did we do something wrong....... was something not quite right?? But no, looks like everything was just fine........ we just only got 3 stars.......... Also, the guest mentioned a few laundry around......... and yes there is....... but we have an onsite guest laundry......... washing machine is free........ dryer is $2 per 30 minutes. Washing line is free to use!!! ....... only got 3 dots.......

We spent 3 of our 5 nights in Christchurch at the Airways and it was a very comfortable, clean and convenient location. There is a METRO bus stop at the front door and only a 10 minute drive to the airport. Friendly hosts and competitive prices.

Would definitely stay here again. Great place if you are travelling overseas as they will store your car for way less that other storage places. Have a shuttle to and from airport which may be free. We had to pay a minimal $15 each way as we left at 4am and when we returned we did not stay at motel. Motel was spotlessly clean and beds very comfy. The lady that booked us in was super lovely as was the motel owner Jeff who collected us from the airport on our way home.

Very helpful and friendly service. We needed info about public transport and they take time and give us a lot of info how to goo. Good bed, clean and big rooms with airco. Nice good breakkfast and free shuttle to airport.

Thanks for that!! We are pretty happy with where we are at with the motel at this stage. It's been a long slog, taking on an underperforming motel 2 weeks before the first lock down. But, we came out the other side, and it gave us the time (although tbh we didn't like this much time!) to work out just what Airways Motel needed to get back to it's popularity of yesteryear. We will still be making small changes, improvements but yes, we will be keeping it like this!

So warm and welcoming after a long midnight flight into Christchurch. Heat pump was on, comfy beds and a good night sleep was just what we needed! Just a short drive to and from the airport and very easy to find. Thanks for the hospitality!
