Just loved our accommodation here last night! Paid $158 + $25 parking (parking outside beside the motel - GREAT money spinner for them). But so very nearly didn't book as guy on the phone kept saying how small our room was & it was really only used as a back up room & tried to sell us one for over $200!! The room was fantastic!! Had our own balcony overlooking the tramway & great size for the two of us. Option of another blanket would have been appreciated, reception closed when we went to bed. Noise from band until 2am down the road might bother some people but ok with us. Would definitely stay again & request that same room too!! Staff very pleasant & room spotlessly clean.

All you need in a clean, quirky, funky boutique hotel. Very well situated and very clean. Staff were warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Will certainly be back again. Only downside is number of empty shops around the venue. Sad but not unexpected at this time.

We booked this hotel not knowing much about its location in Christchurch. If you want a great hotel which is perfectly located this is for you. Hotel in clean, tidy and decor is very Boutique. Located just behind the Cathedral and within the tramway it is handy for everything close by. Definitely stay here again

We booked the family room. The child’s room seemed like a repurposed cleaners stock room and was pleasant enough. The room it connected to for the adults couldn’t fit a pram, or a port-a-cot and had a bed suitable for people no taller than 5’ft. And no room to sit or be present if the kids need a nap in the day. Porta-a-cot would be in front of the door becoming a fire hazard. Microwave and kettle were in the hallway. Nice enough place but wouldn’t go beyond budget accomodation status. Deceptive when booking online.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for staying with us. It is disappointing to hear that we did not meet your high expectations. Our Standard Family Room consists of 2 Standard Rooms (one with a bunk bed for one child and the other with a double bed) and is well described on OTA websites and our own. All our rooms are equipped with a kettle. If your budget allows, please try our Superior Family Room to enable you to have the great experience that our other families have. Kind Regards Sarah General Manager

Modern hotel in the centre of Christchurch. Perfect location as it is a walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and parks. The room is quite small with a double bed which was very comfortable. There is a nice communal area with the outdoor seating on the balcony, coffee, tea and a fruit platter on the 1st floor. Great service and value for money.
