We stayed here over Queens Birthday, location was the best you can get. So central to everything. We booked a family room and my kids were absolutely stoked to have such a kids friendly room. Will surely stay here again.
Really nice hotel located in Central Christchurch. Beds were comfortable and the reception staff were super helpful in organising a airport transfer. Brilliant Japanese place next door if you just want take away to your room. Also a laundromat 2 minutes away if you're at the end of your holiday.
Lovely rooms with character and difference. Opulent furnishing. Balcony and views and lovely architecture. Every room is different. Close to lots of restaurants and cafes. Right in the centre of ChCh city with tramway directly beneath.
Very nice retro central hotel, very much a "Naumi" style decor. Clean well serviced and very comfortable rooms, service was good and fit and finish was well done especially considering the age of the building the designers have done a good job everything considered. Only down sides would have been no Air-conditioning in the room and only a fan and plus a Very slow lift.
We booked for one night between Christmas and New Years Eve for a family staycation. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a great location with easy walking to restaurants, bars, shops and nearby New Regent Street. The hotel and its rooms are beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches and utter charm. Having requested a roll out bed for our 7 year old, it was such a sweet surprise to discover it made up with whimsical children’s bedding complete with fluffy blanket and soft toys. Reasonably priced, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique stay in the heart of Christchurch’s CBD.
We stayed 2 nights in a quaint boutique hotel with a large room on the first floor which was convenient as it was easy enough to just use the stairs instead of the lift. The room had plush carpet and the bed was nice and comfortable. The staff were also friendly and helpful. I chose this hotel as it was at Cathedral junction where we were hopping on the tram restaurant right outside the hotel. It is also a good location as it is close by to restaurants, New Regent, bars and not far if you want to do some shopping. Would definitely stay here again.
I booked this hotel so that we could walk to our dinner at TwentySeven Steps. I ignored the confirmation emails (oops), so was a little surprised by the actual rate (VAT? Of 23 was added). From the outside we had some reservations (!) and was wishing I’d looked more carefully, however it was delightful. The location was perfect, with only a block to Twenty Seven Steps, but also, there was a dairy and a wine/beer shop in the arcade below. The interior was very nicely decorated, and had a nice atmosphere, being a small hotel. The room itself looked like it had been redecorated recently, so Very Nice. I’d asked for a quiet room with comfortable beds, and we got that - and had a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room, from a superior room. I was prepared to allow for some city noise, and was surprised how quiet it was - I didn’t hear a thing. So, I would definitely go back to this hotel!…
Just loved our accommodation here last night! Paid $158 + $25 parking (parking outside beside the motel - GREAT money spinner for them). But so very nearly didn't book as guy on the phone kept saying how small our room was & it was really only used as a back up room & tried to sell us one for over $200!! The room was fantastic!! Had our own balcony overlooking the tramway & great size for the two of us. Option of another blanket would have been appreciated, reception closed when we went to bed. Noise from band until 2am down the road might bother some people but ok with us. Would definitely stay again & request that same room too!! Staff very pleasant & room spotlessly clean.
All you need in a clean, quirky, funky boutique hotel. Very well situated and very clean. Staff were warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Will certainly be back again. Only downside is number of empty shops around the venue. Sad but not unexpected at this time.
We booked this hotel not knowing much about its location in Christchurch. If you want a great hotel which is perfectly located this is for you. Hotel in clean, tidy and decor is very Boutique. Located just behind the Cathedral and within the tramway it is handy for everything close by. Definitely stay here again
