Wonderful stay here. We were a little concerned there might be a lot of road noise from the busy road however the rooms were so well insulated that we didn't hear anything. Bathroom facilities were fabulous, bed was comfortable and the kitchenette had everything we needed for a week stay. Would happily recommend Annabelle Court for anyone looking for a comfortable motel in a great location at a reasonable price.

We had confirmed bookings via Agoda for 2 nights at this motel, for 2 adults and our 2 young grandchilden. On attempting to check in the person in the office said we had a booking for one night only for 2 people. This person said she would not honour the bookng as she did not trust Agoda. After a very long and almost heated debate we phone agoda. They were amazing and contacted the motel while we waited on the phone. This office person would still not honour the booking even after talking to Agoda. Agoda ensured that the motel would not be charging us. Fantastic service from Agoda, but be warned, don;t ever go near Annabelle Court Motel. The person in reception should not be in the hospitality industry.

Ok so the rooms are ok in appearance and on par for a motel as I am discovering on my many visits to such places this year. However this has been without doubt the most uncomfortable and noisy night I have had ever, and I have stayed in some places! We stayed in room 7 and were there as a family of 5 in this unit. So we ended up on what they described as a sofa bed. This is so far from the truth all bar the fact that it transforms into what looks like one. Once on it I pity the next person who sleeps on it as it is hard as a rock, mattress less and frankly more like sleeping on a floor. Add to that if we were here for say 3days we would have had nowhere to store our clothes or bags as the lounge has no storage so we would have had to share a bedroom robe. Then the so called lounge. Enough beds for 6 people but chair for 4, bed set up no room to swing a cat, shower that constantly drips are a few extra gripes. However the worst, yes there is a worst still, is the noise transfered from the above room. Every pee they had, footstep they took, toilet they flushed and move around the apartment they made sounded as if they were in our room. Ok so the occupants were a total pain being up until 5am but come on they were doing no more than moving about and using their room not having a party. Will add we stayed here 3 years ago, different owners and the place was ok for the 2 of us back then room wise and I would think would be ok if staying here like that but this review is based on their family, group room andreflects how poor this eexperience is if you stay here. So my advice stay in a top 10 park with a bed each this is not good value and the noise alone let alone the sofa bed are enough to ensure we never come back here again even as a couple.

Stayed there for 3 nights and didn't want to leave, as it really was a great place to be, clean, roomy, good beds, everything just was A ok. And that includes the people owning and working there. The manageress was enthusiastic and extremely helpful, showing us good places to eat and did all the laundry for us. The room cleaning staff also were very friendly, helpful and did a great job everyday; these were Indian and Nepal ladies. Definitely a place to stay and pretty close to everything; do need a car though, except for great breakfast across the road and fantastic dinner 3 buildings down the road; all in all a place we liked and we'll go back to

We stayed in a studio unit for one night we had booked on the road because there was little accomadtion in CHCH at the time of our stay, as i checked in the man behind the front desk was not helpful just gave me the key and pointed to the room the Lady who checked us out in the morning was lovely and bright and asked if we needed any help with further travel top marks for her :), we got to the room to find it was not clean and had finger/hand marks all over the wall and hair in the bathroom (not from us) did feel it was not clean enough to cook in. After staying in 5* motel the night before for $130 then arriving to this at $145 i was very disapointed, My suggestion is to go and check out the motel before you book :)

Loud non-stop hum made an otherwise good average 3.3 star accommodation unbearable. I wouldn't stay again. Room 12. I find it hard to believe these guys don't know about this, it must be the aircon or something. Only noticed at night and is a real let down. Come on owners don't put people in this position. I have a long work day I fronted me!!
