Very welcoming host accommodation clean and shower was great, was an open shower so bathroom got very wet,bed was comfortable..residential neighbours had a spotlight shining directly into our room on the second night and it made sleep difficult. There seemed to be a few permanent residents on the property. Close to everything would definitely stay again if we are visiting Christchurch.

The cottages are so quiet and you just don't feel like your in the middle in Christchurch. Nice and private, sit out on the deck and read a book! Bliss. Friendly staff who are happy to help. The laundry is free also which is great when you're traveling. Would highly recommend this place.

This really is a great place to stay. Parking is good and access to the rest of the city and to head north is very good. Quiet, clean rooms. The owner is a lovely lady, a pleasure to meet and very helpful and accommodating.

Like being in a park. Small private courtyard where the crickets were singing all day. Very clean and tidy. Comfy bed. Great shower pressure but small area for wet floor shower which spilled over toilet whilst showering. Quiet considering on a major road. Great friendly hosts. Loved our stay in number 11

Changed hands since we were last here and the new owners are really nice. Nothing is a bother. Good central location with parking, easy access to other parts of the city. Quiet for a main road location. Units are clean and tidy and a good size. Always a pleasure to stay here which is why we keep coming back.

Stayed at this motel for 2 nights. Had a group of more mature people. The new owners,Rodney and Rebecca, are absolutely awesome. Nothing was too much trouble. If you needed anything they were there to help. Carrying bags upstairs, getting the BBQ sorted, anything you needed help with they were there. The rooms are clean and tidy and you have everything you need. The newer rooms are lovely and comfortable. Will be back to stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone. Good luck to Rodney and Rebecca, keep it up and you will go really well.

Good location, walking distance to car pick up, and then easy access to main arterial roads to continue your jouney. Neat, clean and tidy with ample parking and little road noise. Shops nearby, includes bakery, fruit and vegetables, and cafes. Hard to fault, so I won't.

We had a fantastic stay in cottage Number 8 (Luxury Cottage). Great price for 2 people. Nice roomy cottage with full kitchen facilities. Great bed and unbelievable good shower! My only "negative" for lack of a better word is that it it a wet floor shower. The whole bathroom does get pretty damp. The shower more than makes up for the inconvenience. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Cranford Cottages was fantastic. The motel rooms have everything that you need and the owners are lovely. It is nice and handy to the city and has restaurants and a supermarket just a few minutes walk down the road.

Cranford Cottages is a great choice when staying in Christchurch. We were upgraded to a bigger unit which was appreciated. Spotlessly clean is always a good start, add a comfy bed and a heat pump, and you can't go wrong. The water pressure was good for a shower as well. The owners are delightful and nothing is too much trouble for them. It was so appreciated when we'd had a long day out, to arrive home at 8.30p.m. at night with the curtains closed and the heat pump on. Some units with heat pumps don't have electric blankets, but if you ask when booking they will put one on the bed for you.
