For the money this is a very handy, tidy and well set out room. Includes a separate kitchenette, Sky Tv, comfortable bed and good shower. Our unit was set back away from Bealey Ave, so very little noise at night.

Would recommend to anyone looking to spend $100-$120 per couple.

Really enjoyed our stay here at the Belmont motor Inn. Booked a king spa room, room was nice and big and very comfortable. Bath and spa jets were nice and clean which 8s a good bonus, alot of hotels have dirty jets. Nice and close to the city and between two well known streets so you never got lost finding your way back.. Bealey Ave can be quite busy and noisy on the weekends at night but we hardly heard a thing!! Staff were very accomodating and friendly. Only downside was the parking, didn't quite seem to be enough and when a ute and trailer arrived they took up 3 parks for their one room which made space even tighter and took parks away from other stayers. We will definitely be back.

City centre is only 10 minutes drive away. Managed to get a room at the ground floor, very convenient with parking right in front. Room is spacious enough for 5 adults, wifi is fast, shower is strong and beddings are comfortable. Only 1 unit of heater at living room so the room was a bit cold. Great value place to stay.

At $170 per night for four people we can't complain too much.

It was very clean & comfortable & the guy on reception was very friendly.

The shower mixer was from the 70s, they only provided two makeup remover pads - no other bathroom items. The towels were old & almost grey. No extra blankets provided but the bed was warm. Clock in kitchen had a flat battery, TV in bedroom didn't work.

We were down the end so didn't hear much road noise at all.

Perfectly adequate for us though.

The images available for the rooms do not really match the reality. The rooms look more comfortable, modern and fresh than they really are. I am not certain that the room i was given matched my booked or if the configuration in room did not match the website. The room was a complete mismatch of furniture and kitchen amenities. The shower was in a very poor state and did not seem clean. The towels were old and discoloured. The sheets on the bed i used had stains. There were very limited toiletries provided and they were poor quality. I would never stay here again and would rather pay for appropriate accommodation myself than have it be business funded if this place was my only choice. I believe this is a massively overpriced accommodation for what you get.

Visited this motel with my family of 5. Booked 2 bedroom apartment.

1. 2 single bed in 1 room. 1 queen size in another room. 1 single bed in the living room. Not sure why is there a single bed in the living room. Dont make sense to have a bed in the living room.

2. Wifi is not working for 95% of the time. It do not require password to log in. Even when you are connected, you cant go online and the signal will drop off after a few mins.

3. 2 of the heaters provided are not working. Few of the lights are not working too. Whole living room looks dim.

4. Only provided 4 sets of utensil despite that we had paid for 5 person.

5. Room looks very run-down and dirty.

6. No lock on the toilet door. it is not damaged or etc. Just no lock.

7. The sofa is dirty too......2 of us have bites on our back after sitting on it.

8. Good selection of TV programme as a TV box is provided.

9. Pretty central location.

Where do I begin 🤔
Walls were filthy
Kitchen appliances had cooking oil smeared on them.
Tea towel had holes and was grey and stained.
Light bulbs were blown
Had to ask for more toilet paper.
Ants were crawling over kitchen bench in the morning
Sofa stained and uncomfortable.
Beds like rocks.
Unit smells and feels damp.
Heat pump wasn't working, checked filters and they were filthy so had to clean them to get warmth.
Had to get unit cleaned as when we arrived there were crumbs and gravel on carpet and brown muck on cupboard doors.
Curtains are missing hooks and don't cover windows adequately.
Walls are covered in dirty marks and makeup in places. Light switches and skirting boards are disgusting.
It's shared parking but management allowed campervan to park right in front of our door blocking entrance.
They could have parked on their side so we had access to our door.
The toilet paper is the the cheapest crap available and so thin you need half a roll each time and we only had 1 and a half rolls for 3 adults for 3 days, so I had to get more.
Absolutely rubbish and don't believe the good reviews. Also had to ask for plates as unit had 3 guests and we only had two dinner plates. The photos are not realistic, more than likely about 10 years old because that's how bad the state of things are. Cleaning is not their forte 😕.

Possibly my average is a little high but location saves it. Our room big with a balcony, little kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and cook top. Good bathroom with sep shower. Guest laundry. Off street parking. The room was really tired as was the kitchen and bathroom. The chipped paint work had been concealed with stick on butterflies, linen was in need of replacement as was the bed, just all really needs a little TLC. Prob would try another motel next time.

We booked here for a family group for reasonably central location, good price and ability to sleep 4 adults. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen facilities ok but tea wasn't restocked without us asking. Bathroom very basic and minimal toiletries supplied. Towels were poor quality and old. Decor awful plastic plants. The lounge furniture had ill fitting covers. Off street parking was tight over the weekend if you got back late. The place is a bit tired but fine if youre on a budget and just want place to stay on a budget.

The location was great with walking distance to central Christchurch. The hotel its self is a bit outdated and the beds in the second bedroom weren’t overly comfortable. This was good for an overnight stay though. It was clean, check in was friendly and it was a large space .
