Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in this hotel one night on 01/3/2020, after this we'd been travelling in New Zealand for another 2 weeks or so. None of the other hotels we stayed could compare to this one!
It is very clean, quite and the staff were very helpful, friendly as well as professional! Plus the location of the hotel is very ideal, only 2 blocks of walk you would get to a big street where you will find all kinds of restaurants.
Highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting Christchurch in New Zealand

Fantastic accommodation in Christchurch. Very convenient location for car access parking in front of the room. The room was very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended for great value and high quality motel stay.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It's very new so everything still looks pristine and nice, but looks aren't everything. We arrived just before midday on the back of about 3 hours sleep before our long journey and thought we'd call in and try our chances with an early check in. The owners were so accommodating and immediately allowed us to check in so that we could get some sleep, and what a sleep we had. Black out curtains and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in were so appreciated. We had a studio room but that was more than adequate for us. It wasn't cramped or cluttered, there was plenty of room for our gear and the little balcony outside was great too. The kitchenette was so well appointed, it had everything you could possibly need or want (including a coffee plunger and coffee) and the bathroom was perfect.

I rate this place as perfect, especially given what you pay - the value is incredible. We will definitely stay here again when next in Christchurch!

Stayed for 2 nights for the CHCH show. Excellent location, well equipped, very clean and tidy room with good amenities, great shower and comfy beds. Only thing that let it down was the uncomfortable couch. Will definitely be back :)

Checked in with my son for 3 night stay, great welcome and fresh milk supplied at check in. Most welcome. Extremely comfortable beds and small kitchenette with everything supplied. Beautiful bathroom with rain shower. Lovely toiletries. Plenty of off street parking and lots of restaurants close by.

We were travelling from the UK on a long road trip around Australia and NZ!

The owner could not be more helpful and indeed the rooms, well small apartments were amazing.

Everything you could want is on hand. We had one very slight issue and this was dealt with literally in seconds.

I would quite happily stay here again either on business or holiday!

Don’t worry about others concerns with the one way systems that operate in Christchurch! This place is easily found and within very close walking distance to the main city area. We never used the car once it was parked up!!

Check out the Thai container for food.

Friendly staff, a great room and everything was spotless. It was the small touches that really made it. Cutlery, filter coffee, sky tv, they even gave you a little bottle of milk at reception. Would stay again.

We stayed 2 nights on our South Island road trip. Being on Bealey Ave, it can be a bit difficult to get to. Off-street parking is available.

We stayed in room A6. Very nice 2 bedroom suite.

One of the pluses of staying here was the lifts/elevators. My nan doesn't do stairs very well anymore, so having the lifts meant there were no issues.

My one complaint would be the couch. It's rather uncomfortable, but that's what you get with a futon I suppose.

Otherwise, it was a very clean, modern room, and we enjoyed our stay here.

No we didn't. I am assuming you mean, the actual airport shuttle bus, not the hotels. A taxi for up to 3 people(maybe 4) with luggage is about $45 First direct taxi's. Used them 5 or 6 times in Christchurch. Recommended
