Very friendly reception staff - I was leaving very early the next morning and that was no bother. Close to and easy access to Christchurch airport. Supermarket and restaurants just down the road made for a nice walk after a day's driving. Room was very comfortable - good sound proofing, did not hear the main road at all. Nice modern bathroom. I didn't use the kitchenette, or the heat pump (but appreciated that there was a heat pump if needed). Great value for money.
Stayed here 2 nights and hardly got any sleep. The owners leave bloody bright lights on all around the complex all night which turn off when the sun rises. They will be for security and should either be on a motion sensor or dimmed or lower wattage bulb. Shame because the rooms are nice. I won’t be coming back to stay unless they rectify it.
The hotel is close to the Christchurch airport. The lady reception was very nice to us. The room is good. The room has a microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, and plates. We had good dinner in the room. The parking is adequate. The area is nice and quiet. We rent a car from Apex Car Rental and drove to the hotel. We bought groceries from the Countdown Supermarket as recommended by the receptionist.
Close to a number of shops and restaurants. Room is clean and tidy. It is a good choice if you plan to stay in Christchurch for a short visit. Room size is not very big but reasonable. There are not extra beds but sofa bed.
The staff (especially the guy at reception) were certainly friendly but a broken tap in the hand basin made life difficult. There was an empty water bottle behind the bedside table, water marks on the bathroom floor and the dining table had not been wiped properly. The bed was certainly comfortable and the continental breakfast was very good.
