Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed here 2 nights and hardly got any sleep. The owners leave bloody bright lights on all around the complex all night which turn off when the sun rises. They will be for security and should either be on a motion sensor or dimmed or lower wattage bulb. Shame because the rooms are nice. I won’t be coming back to stay unless they rectify it.

Very friendly reception staff - I was leaving very early the next morning and that was no bother. Close to and easy access to Christchurch airport. Supermarket and restaurants just down the road made for a nice walk after a day's driving.

Room was very comfortable - good sound proofing, did not hear the main road at all. Nice modern bathroom. I didn't use the kitchenette, or the heat pump (but appreciated that there was a heat pump if needed).

Great value for money.

The hotel is close to the Christchurch airport. The lady reception was very nice to us. The room is good. The room has a microwave, a refrigerator, a sink, and plates. We had good dinner in the room. The parking is adequate. The area is nice and quiet. We rent a car from Apex Car Rental and drove to the hotel. We bought groceries from the Countdown Supermarket as recommended by the receptionist.

I recently stayed at this motel, didn't have anything booked thought I would take my chances when I arrived in Christchurch. So I picked this motel by chance really, drove by liked the look of it, but before I went in I checked it out on google and the reviews seemed really good so I thought why not. I checked in, the man who served me was really polite and helpful cannot fault him, he gave A+ service, I was really disappointed in the room, at first glance it seemed really good, but as I started to settle, I looked around the room, the heat pump didn't work correctly, no matter what setting it seemed to blow out cold air and on a Christchurch winters day not ideal really, plus the heat pump was dirty, the table had hair on it and old sticky drink stains, the complimentary tea and coffee hadn't been refilled, dirty tissues under the bed from who knows, under the couch cushions was old food crumbs, the fridge was dirty.
Because the room was so cold I looked for another blanket and there were none so I thought I'll put the electric blanket on but my bed didn't have one. Really disappointed in this motel, I come to Christchurch often and stay in a lot of motels and this is one of the worst I have stayed in. There were a few excellent points about the room, the shower was amazing with really hot water, big screen tv with all the sky channels you could want. The bed was comfortable.
As I said very disappointed, especially for a motel that has a lot of turn over being on a busy road. Surely they should have better cleaning standards than this and more attention to detail when servicing their rooms. Can't say I will be a returning customer.

The staff (especially the guy at reception) were certainly friendly but a broken tap in the hand basin made life difficult.
There was an empty water bottle behind the bedside table, water marks on the bathroom floor and the dining table had not been wiped properly.
The bed was certainly comfortable and the continental breakfast was very good.

Most suited to an overnight stay as the beds and lounge are very hard and uncomfortable. It is located on a very busy, noisy street making it difficult to get a good nights sleep.
The apartment is spotlessly clean, the staff are very nice, polite and welcoming. It is a good choice if you have an early flight out.

Stayed a night in Studio connecting room. I reached Christchurch quite late at night due to my flight from Wellington is delayed and the reception has closed by that time. Nevertheless, I was left with easy instruction to checked in and they had turn on the heater for me which is really considerate as the night was freezing. Spacious room for couple. Conveniently located just about 15 minutes away from the airport.

Close to a number of shops and restaurants. Room is clean and tidy. It is a good choice if you plan to stay in Christchurch for a short visit. Room size is not very big but reasonable. There are not extra beds but sofa bed.

This is a fairly new complex but lacks a fair bit. The heat pump as difficult to get working and then would not turn off the fridge as one often seen in old caravans so small it hardly took a bottle of wine. The bed side alarm clock could not work as it had the wrong plug to suit NZ.
That said the unit was neat and tidy and very clean.
