The room was clean, comfortable, & exactly what we needed. Central to everything, we barely used our vehicle. The Owner was lovely, nothing was a problem. Awesome shower & spa bath in our unit. The bed was made each day when we popped out, towels replaced & dishes washed. We will definitely return next time we visit Chch. Thank you!!

We recently stayed for 3 nights on a girls weekend away in a 2 bedroom apartment and we couldn't recommend it more! Very well appointed room with each bedroom having TVs and electric blankets. The service was outstanding. Great communication for our late arrival & daily service in the room. So nice to come back after a long day shopping on a cold day.. to your curtains pulled, lamps on and heater going. Can't wait to stay again. Thanks so much!

Great location. Super clean. Even got 6 set of high quality coffee and tea plus proper milk (not the cheap stuff I see in most motel), plus a couple of yummy short bread. Friendly staff. Our flight was delayed. Macro just prepared the room for us to help ourselves that night. He also let us check out late to catch up the mush needed sleep. Highly recommended!

Have stayed here most times when in CHCH, and the Metropolitan never fails to deliver excellent standards. This time was no exception. As well as covering the 101s of accommodation service, this business goes above and beyond. Right down to putting bottles of water under all the cars in their carpark, so when you wake up with a frosty windscreen, you have water right there to clear your screen. We had some laundry that we did on sight, and popped down to the mall, just 200m away. The owner said they will put it in drier for us. On our return our washing was not only dry but waiting in a basket at our door. The cleanliness is so good, I saw one of the staff sweeping up autumn leaves that had blown off the street into the carpark. Most places wouldn't worry about such small things, but the feel at the Metropolitan is, what else can we do for our customers when we have taken care of the big issues that affect your stay. You will get a great sleep here in comfy beds, and service that you won't even see, that is being done behind the scenes, so you can get on with your business or holiday. Thanks once again Metropolitan. One last thing, I had initially booked, then Covid hit. Metropolitan did not hesitate to refund 100% of my payment. Air NZ could learn a lesson here. So as soon as we could travel we re-booked with them.…
