This is a Great motel. Stayed a number of times. Nice, clean and the lady in reception was lovely. Comfortable bed and lovely hot shower. Was worried about the new building next door but didn’t hear a thing. Relatively New heat pump which kept us warm.

I think I am difficult to impress, but Abbella Lodge excels. The high quality of the booking process (by phone), the warm welcome, the amenities, the fine linens, the large flat screen TV (with excellent reception), the comfortable king-size bed and fast wifi, is all 5 star. Plus there is a lovley little park just 4 or 5 doors along the street to walk the pup. Superb in every way, very highly recommened.

Thankyou Sunny, for a lovely warm welcome! Amazing clean apartment (I even met the lovely male cleaner does an impeccable job!), with extra touches and pride in their business evident. Love that they encourage eco approaches like supplying milk in a little glass bottle, noting to leave out of the rubbish anything recyclable and to turn off unneeded lights/heat pump etc. Beautifully clean, nice and warm, spacious yet home-like. Even being so close to QEII drive, the noise is barely noticeable. Excellent location, close to many eating places, Northlands Mall and more. Look forward to our next visit and utilizing the bath too!

Stayed 4 days over a long weekend in a spa room with queen bed in the lounge and a king bed in the bedroom. Super clean, warm ( due to the heat pump) adequate crockery and cutlery, toaster and kettle, and hot plate) Refrigerator in room. Plenty of car parks, there were no issues with finding one any time we came back. Plenty of food places nearby, not far from Northlands mall. Would definitely stay here again,

Very friendly owner/staff, very helpful and professional. And the customer service is more than excellent. It's a very clean and a very nice place to stay. The place is very tidy and well organized. And everything you need is in the room. They deserve 10 stars not 5.

We booked in for three nights and wished we could stay longer. Our hosts made us feel very welcome. Even our little Bichon Friese was treated as an honoured guest. The accommodation was beautifully presented and cleaned to a very high standard. We recommend this accommodation knowing no one will leave disappointed as it reflects well on all the fabulous things Christchurch has to offer. We leave already planning a return stay. . . We had a one bed apartment which had a second queen bed in the living area, so could accommodate four people. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with everything we needed. The hosts were cheerful and welcoming, and made sure we knew how to access Netflix when showing us the room. The guest laundry was wonderful - just pay for the use and not fiddling with coins. Definitely recommended.

Stayed here for one night, having previously stayed for longer. Good friendly welcome, room well presented, very clean, fully equipped and very comfortable. Although the motel is close to a main road in the city, it is set back and you hardly notice the traffic, certainly not enough to disturb sleep. Glad I decided to stay here again.

Handy location. Free parking. About 15 minutes walk to the mall and supermarket. I have stayed here quite a few times and it's always spotless. Real milk in a glass bottle. Room in the bathroom for putting things on. I'm not very fond of the theft proof coat hangers, but it's a minor. The people here are always lovely and helpful.
