The room was warm, tidy and clean - it had been previously heated and electric blankets on prior to our arrival, very thoughtful.
It was lovely and quiet with little to no noise from the busy road outside.
The people taking care of us were friendly and very helpful especially in the morning with my windows on my car being frosted over.
I highly recommend them as a very centrally located and comfortable home away from home.

Wonderful staff. Great service, close the casino a short walk af about 10-15 mins. Room was serviced everyday. Could use with some brighter lights in the bathroom but over all very lovely stay. Would happily stay here again on our next trip.

From check in to check out our experience with 136 on Bealey was nothing short of amazing. Our hosts were friendly and hospitable from the moment we walked in, offering us plenty of options for must see and do activities and places, and some real winners for places to go eat. The facilities were clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable though the real winner for us was the blackout curtains keeping us cool and well rested at all times.
Close to the city center, I'd definitely recommend 136 on bealey to anyone looking for an affordable stay

We stayed at this Motel for a weekend and was given a free upgrade to the King Studio with Kitchen room upon booking with Booking.com. Everything in the room was clean and beds were comfortable. Whilst only staying here for 2 nights our room was cleaned whilst we were out which was really nice to come back to also. We used Lime scooters to get into town and back so the location was really convenient and close enough. Check in was quick and the lady on duty was friendly and polite. Car parking was onsite too and happened to be visible from our room window. I have nothing bad to say about the place, and I would most definitely book again if I needed to visit Chch again. We had the most amazing stay at 136 on bealey, while attending the NZ Touch Nationals for 2022. Steve and Amy were amazing to work with from the start of our booking right up till the end.
They went over and beyond to cater to our group. Once they found out our group was made up of women and children they made sure that we were all safe and booked their entire motel for our group only and gave us the last 2 rooms on-site as a free upgrade... which was absolutely amazing.
The motel itself was tidy and well kept. And because not every room had cooking facilities, Amy and Steve let us use the downstairs foyer area as a make shift dining area so our team could still eat as a group.
The beds were nice and comfy and everyone seemed to enjoy their sleeps throughout or 5 day stay....and the water pressure in all the room showers were fantastic. Such a warm and welcoming facility that I would recommend to anyone group small or large.

We booked two Queen Twin Suites for three nights, the rooms were excellent and well-equipped with a microwave, plates and cutlery. The location was great too, close enough to the city centre for convenience, but far enough to escape all the traffic. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to a friend.

Spacious, Clean, Tidy, Quiet, and they were very flexible and worked with me to make sure it all suited my travel arrangements the best they could.
I Especially like the private "deck" with seats outside, this is becoming so rare.
Also, you get enough milk for more than one coffee!!!!!

Didn’t look like the photos at all, a lot more dated. room was falling apart, wires hanging out of the wall, missing a light, skirting board hanging off. Bed was not comfortable could feel the springs. And the shower leaks water onto the whole bathroom floor

Super motel for a visit to Christchurch. Great simple motel, conveniently located and easily accessible to the city centre on foot. Super value for money. Very friendly and helpful hosts that were really informative about local places of interest.

We stayed as part of our tour of the South Island. When we arrived the man at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was a good size and the beds were comfy. We had a twin room with a kitchenette. We went to use the microwave on the first night and unfortunately that hadn’t been cleaned. We also couldn’t find the sky channels that were advertised. It was handy having a cafe next door with great coffee, unfortunately one of the other guests was sat right in the doorway smoking, our room was next to this door so our room was filled with smell of smoke and we had to walk through that door way to leave. Even though it’s on a busy main road we had a great sleep and it was easy access to the city.

We pre-paid our shuttle transfer over the internet. We chose Supershuttle Tourism Transport Limited and it cost us $32.24 (shared ride)for 2 people to go from Christchurch Airport to 136 on Bealey Motel. We arrived at 10.05 pm.
And far as I know you can order a shuttle from Bealey Motel to get back to the airport.
