Detailed Reviews
Was here for a three days business trip, had a great conversation with the manager and showed me the places for food and shop close by. Room is nice and warm with air-condtioner, very fast wifi and the cooked breakfasts are delicious but not expensive. Would recommend to others and will be back for the next trip.

Excellent stay, after a mishap the owners and staff were more than accommodating us with changes due to my error and missing the ferry the previous day. The unit was spacious and spotless and everything needed. Loved the Netflix and recliners after a busy day sightseeing and travelling. Rebecca was ever so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The unit had parking right outside and even a little area for a quiet relax time outside. Breakfast was available if needed and I was even given some extra milk when asked at check in as I’m a huge coffee drinker. Only downside is we only got to stay the one night instead of two as previously mentioned due to missing the ferry and getting my dates mixed up. Thanks and will definitely be back if visiting Christchurch again in the future.

We booked a Studio Apartment in June and the manager was very kind to upgrade us to a One Bedroom Apartment, very spacious and the air-con were turned on before arrival so the apartment was warm. Nice modern apartment and separate TVs, cooking facility and very fast WIFI connection. The manager showed us the shop and restaurants close by and the Thai restaurant was very nice. The In room serviced cooked breakfasts were definitely worth mentioning.
Would definitely stay again when we come up to CHCH again.

As soon as we entered the room there was a strong smell of urine we asked to be changed rooms but they were full. We ended up leaving in the night to stay else where as the smell strong was so bad and over powering my kids couldn’t sleep. I went back the next day and asked for a refund for both nights. ($500) after a week I was refunded only $300. But left it as wanted to forget the awful experience. Also chairs were taped up, a kitchen cupboard was broken. Would not recommend

This motel describes itself as 5 star luxury. In reality, it’s a social housing refuge for homeless families. Unfortunately, what this means for members of the public who pay to stay here is that you’re subjected to constant noise from what seems like dozens of unsupervised children. These children were outside screaming, shouting and being a noxious until the wee hours of the morning.
Several dodgy acting characters around the rooms and car park. Loitering, shady looks, exchanges late at night. The experience couldn’t have been less luxury. Horrid.

We were disappointed that having previously stayed here and rated it very high that it has now become short term rentals for social housing. We understand motels needed to survive through covid but maybe people should be informed that the majority of their clients are semi permanent as the vibe of the place has definitely changed. We were woken at 2am by people catching up with each other outside their units talking and laughing with no regard to others staying in the motel.
The unit we stayed in was great with a spa and the bed was comfortable but the whole experience/vibe of the place is not one we will be repeating. We should not have had to close our curtains to get privacy in the afternoon due to numerous kids riding past our door and car on their scooters.

Unfortunately we were unable to make our trip to NZ as a result of the pandemic, the accomodation was so understanding and waived all cancellation fees. I'm sure your accomodation is amazing and look forward to staying here in the future. This speaks volumes of you as people. Thank you.

Website says that this is a 5 star motel, although nice would not rate 5 stars. Fixtures and cupboard door broken, not to mention dirt/mould in the corners of the bathroom. Room was away from the street but could still hear the traffic.

Recommend clean comfortable and spacious rooms. All rooms appear to be on the flat so easy parking and security. Staff were easy to deal with as we arrived late at night. Would stay again as it is close by to shops etc and easy to find. Reasonable rates

An excellent motel ran by husband and wife team. Nothing was too much trouble for them if I needed an extra towel etc. Breakfast was Continental and very enjoyable. Well run and clean with very comfortable beds and clean showers. A 25 min walk to town CBD but worth it. Some restaurants close by from Curry's to Roasts.

I don't believe they offer a shuttle service (but still best to check with the hotel directly). There are shuttle services that operate between the airport and various accommodations, try searching the following companies:
Super Shuttle. Steve's Shuttle, Canterbury Shuttles
We also hired a car while in Christchurch to get ourselves around. Depending on the cost of the shuttles for 4 people, it might even be cheaper to get a small hire car (depending on how long you're staying in town for).
