A reunion of girls who met in Italy stayed at this extraordinary property and it blew us away with its vistas, gardens, buildings and owners! Paripuma is this paradise that cannot be explained but needs to be visited to understand its beauty. Rosa and Michael thank you so very much for making our reunion so special and welcoming us into your kitchen for a special meal preparation. It was such a pleasure to meet you and the property you put so much love into. Cheers from Canada - Deborah

We were a guest at a wedding in December 2016. 100 + guests. Everything was hired. marquee, tables and chairs, dance stage, lighting, toilets, generator for power, glass wear etc. It rained the day before of the wedding and the day after. Therefore no shelter apart from the house and accommodation. (marquee taken away after the wedding.) The owners constantly turned up everyday, even just before the wedding ceremony approached the bride to ensure that there isn't to much noise. She was trying to get ready and have photos. The house and accommodation was covered in blow fly's. which should have been cleaned before leasing out at excessive costs. Minor damage occurred, by way of a red bottle of wine being spelt on some tiles. The bride admitted this and agreed to clean and fix. The owners decided to take the bride to small claims court, in an attempt to extort an excess amount out of her. She threatened to call her employer as a leverage to get this excessive amount from the bride. The small claims court made their decision after hearing all evidence and dismissed the majority of their claim. Anyone considering leasing the property be aware, ,

Thank you Don for your review. We pride ourselves in presenting Paripuma in an immaculate condition in every last detail, including fresh flowers in every bedroom. We are located in a rural area, where there are more flies than in cities, and any flies in the rooms would have entered after 'check-in' as we always check for them in preparation for guests' arrival. The state the house was left in after these guests' 2 night stay was heartbreaking. The bride was initially extremely embarrassed about the damage the wider party had caused to the property. After being given evidence and photos of the damage caused throughout the house and to chattels, the Small Claims Court saw fit to compensate us over 3 times the amount that these guests offered to pay after their admitted misdemeanours. As a result of this one booking and these guests’ violation of our trust, and of our personal belongings, we no longer wish to, and no longer will, let our whole house out to the public during weddings.

Paripuma is a property like nothing else i've seen in NZ. The house is beautiful, the gardens are stunning and both are immaculate. My now Husband and I held our Private ceremony at Paripuma. Our photos look amazing but with a view like that it would be hard for them to not! The owners were amazing and encouraged us to treat the home and property as our own for our stay. Our family members stayed in the BnB and we stayed in one of the rooms in the house. Basil the friendly sheep in one of the ajoining paddocks is worth a visit, he loves the cuddles! Thank you Rosa and Michael for allowing us to hold our ceremony on your lovely property, it will always hold a special place in our heart. We will see you again one day. Regards, Julia and Patrick Moloney

5 family members in the cottage which is very comfortable and beautifully styled. Love the 'tower' room. The bride & groom stayed in the home. We were encouraged to use the house for meals and socializing. The garden setting is unique, and the feel is a mixture of Ireland/Provence/New Zealand. Love the whole atmosphere.

We were here for a wedding this weekend. The house is immaculate, the gardens pristine and the view second to none. Off the beaten track and somewhere that isn't rivaled by many places. An insanely spectacular location. You'd have to be mad or American to not appreciate its beauty.

This B&B is all by itself about 25 minutes from the center of Blenheim, the last 5 km are on a gravel road. House is hard to find with limited signage. We stayed in the guest house - one bedroom is large with two double beds, sitting area with table, efficiency kitchen and attached bath. The other room is smaller with two twin beds (no sitting area or even fridge, though they did let us use the fridge in the owner's kitchen) and small bath across the front foyer. Both baths are attached to each other and separated by a door which locks only from one side. Some amenities (i.e. extra towels and hair dryer) are only in the en suite bathroom. No room fans provided, but they do have heating blankets for each bed. Do-it-yourself continental breakfast (yogurt, muesli, orange juice, plunger coffee, milk, bread, jam) is provided in the larger bedroom but can be carried across and eaten in the owner's kitchen. There was no daily room service. The view from the kitchen into their gardens is beautiful and you are free to walk the gardens.

Thank you Gwenn for your review. It should be mentioned that the 'second room' is only $60.00/night per person, therefore has fewer facilities than our main B&B room. This was explained in the answer to your group's initial enquiry.

We took over the whole place since we were a group of 5 couples. The beds were comfortable and the views from the room inspired upon waking up. The kitchen was supplied beautifully so we could cook our meals at night after wine tasting during the day. We even had access to some of the fresh herbs and veggies from Rosa's garden. The landscaping was amazing. It was a perfect spot to park ourselves for the week in late January.

We enjoyed a long weekend at Rosa and Michael's home grown and nurtured oasis just outside blenhiem in lower dashwood. The place oused tranquil and peaceful ambiance, well off the beaten track (no lowered vehicles down this metal road) with blenhiem 20 mins over hill by car and the Marlborough vineyards beyond. If you need to chill out from the busy life you can't get much better. Format is bed and breakfast and self catering the rest. The hosts are very accommodating and left us to our own devices in the very adequate kitchen/bbq to feed the kids. Rosa and Michael were as intrusive as you wanted them to be our not at all. Plenty of nooks and facilities for large groups and enough privacy to remember (just for a moment) what it was like before the kids :) Kids (free wifi) and adults enjoyed serenity of this English County garden by the sea.
