+1
The Retreat is almost like a small subdivision in the middle of the winery region. We had a one story, 2 bedroom, 2 bath place that would work for 2 couples or a family. It included a large dining / living area, a well -equipped kitchen, garage (we didn’t use) and 2 full bathrooms. There are 3 wineries within easy walking distance if you don’t want to drive. I took a walk into the vineyard directly behind the Retreat for several evening photos.
We drove early to the more distant ones we wanted to visit, then came back for lunch and a local afternoon visit. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed 2 nights in a large group, staying in 2 of the three bedroom lodges. The views over the vineyards to the mountains were lovely and the rooms very comfortable, clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we barbecued both nights, feeding 12 with ease. Mike the manager was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend Vintners Retreat.

We were slated to be in the Marlborough region for business for 10 days, of which we spent 3 days staying at the Vintners Retreat. The spacious 3 bedroom units were perfect for our group of 4 and the view from our back garden was peaceful and idyllic. We visited on a hot sunny day, so the pool was used and it was perfect!

Simply perfect! We had 2 storey accommodation with huge bedrooms, spacious bathroom with great shower - even a spa bath! The views from the patio area were amazing - vines stretching to the mountains and we loved watching the birds, especially the harrier on the hunt at dusk. The pool was refreshing after a day of wine tasting! Accommodation included a washing machine and dryer and a superb well equipped kitchen. It was a great spot to unwind. The only suggestion would be to ask the owners to put a few stickers on the large picture windows as a beautiful thrush hit the window whilst we were there! Luckily it recovered after about 20mins but the birds can’t see the windows in the evening sun! Wouldn’t hestitate to stay here again!

Wonderful fully equipped apartment, situated on the edge of a vineyard in Renwick. Geisen and Nautilus are across the road. A great place to stay for the wine trail and the doorway to Picton and Nelson

Oh my goodness we loved it here. We had a 2 bed bungalow with laundry facilities and it was so clean and airy. We relaxed and enjoyed the accommodation including the pool. All of the wineries are here and wine tasting can be arranged in walking distance. The rooms have large kitchens and bathrooms with jacuzzi baths and walk in showers. There was nothing not to like.

The villa we had had a nice view of the vineyards and the rooms were nice and spacious. The shower had good pressure and we had enough towels and toiletries for our stay. The location was good as it was a short drive to the wineries. The downer was that the tv wasn’t connecting to the WIFI and the place didn’t have an alternative. Connection to our devices was also patchy at times. Which meant that after a full day of activities and sightseeing we couldn’t really unwind using the apps on the TV. I mean what’s a smart tv without wifi? I don’t think the people at the front desk understood what was happening as the response we got was a laissez-faire, “it’s out of our control.” The attitude/response was blemish on an otherwise good stay.

Have recently stayed 4 nights in one of the Manor rooms - every amenity you could wish for. The place is a little tired but I understand the new owners are working to bring things up to the level you would expect from such a place. The setting is fantastic - location is ideal for visiting the surrounding wineries - beds are great and the service very good. Would certainly go back.

Kia ora,
The villas are fully self contained, including a kitchen and gas BBQ, with three lovely wineries for neighbours.
Nearby, the wee town of Renwick has an awesome cafe and one of the three pubs provides a pick up / drop off service. Just down the road we have the Vines Village and across from them is the Marlborough Vintners Hotel, with a restaurant and free shuttle service.
The Hans Herzog Estate is also close, where you can enjoy a fantastic meal or just a casual wine with friends.
We are self catering, however we do a cont breakfast for $19.50 per person.
It consists of Milk, OJ, Cereal, Bread, Spreads & Yoghurt.
Our website contains all the information you require and it's always best to book direct from our website.
