Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in the stars and vines pod and had the most beautiful time. The shared spaces (pool and spa) were fantastic and there are so few people there that they felt private. Mandy was a great host with lots of good recommendations. It is a perfect location to bike to all the vineyards. We would definitely recommend staying here

We had a wonderful stay at Antares. We stayed at the stars and vines pod (romatic package) This package included cheese platter, local bubbles, homemade chocs and bike rental. We were served a gorgeous cooked breakfast from our pod overlooking the vines. Mandy is a wonderful kind host and pays such attention to detail.

In the evening we relaxed with a swim at the salt water pool and at night we went to the hot tub.

It was such a relaxing stay ,would highly recommend.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh,

Sarah (Dublin, Ireland) and Stephen (Uxbridge, London)

The owners were both extremely welcoming and the accomodation is perfect. The grounds are wonderful nestled between olive trees, lemon trees and the local wineries. They offer bikes for convenience to get around the wineries too. I think the pictures actually undersell the beauty of this place. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Sean

This Homestay is idyllic. Lovely location and very welcoming hosts Mandy and Patrick. They make their own olive oil and marmalade- good presents to take home. Could not fault anything. Hans Hertzog winery 10min walk down the road.

We were in sore need of a peaceful tranquil place to stay for a few nights , away from noise and development next door to our home. We found it.
Antares is an oasis among the vineyards. The bed was so comfortable. The accomodtion was peaceful and laid back. The hosts were lovely gentle happy people. Just wonderful.

What a perfect place to stay whilst visiting the wind region. A quick cycle to so many wineries and such a wonderful place to stay. Loved every minute of it and looking forward to coming back. This was exactly what we were looking for and it didn’t disappoint. Thank you

A small taste of the beauty of the Marlborough vineyards can be seen through your window each morning. The apartments are well kitted out for breakfast and a comfortable stay with all mod cons. The owners are a lovely couple who make your stay a pleasant one. A short walk down the road is a beautiful boutique vineyard - Hans Herzog - with excellent wine and an impressive menu. We had the former, but didn’t have the time for the latter unfortunately!

Absolutely delightful, all amenities covered, plus hot tub and pool. Charming hosts, attentive yet not intrusive, so helpful and pleasant. Intend to revisit as soon as I can. Lemon trees and olive groves on the grounds, vineyards all around. Bikes available for use in thd area, which proved useful for sampling the wines.

This is a brilliant place to stay. The location almost opposite Hans Herzog and 10 minutes from Renwick is ideal and there is a lovely (flat) walk from the homestay to the banks of the Wairau river on your doorstep. The views across the vineyards are spectacular too, as is the avenue lined with olive trees and citrus leading the the homestay itself.
I stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which is spacious and comfy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Mandy and Pat are gracious and friendly hosts. During my family's stay we had a flat battery to deal with and additional guests to accommodate and Mandy and Pat really helped us out.
