Location is centrally located in Blenheim within walking distance to many, if not across-the-street located restaurants, coffee shops and retailers. The hotel is located in a restored historical building. This is a small hotel allowing for personal services that feels more like a B&B. The room is clean and in very good condition with a comfy bed and a shower. My room was equipped with a mini kitchen and a small 4 seating eating table having a small refrig/sink/utensils/dishwasher/oven... They serve a breakfast of choice to compliment your eating style. This mini-hotel is as good as it comes and still a WIP with/for improvements.

One of the best small boutique hotels we have ever stayed in. Vicki and Craig, the owners are extremely hands on. The boutique hotel has only 8 rooms, and are superbly decorated and extremely modern, with many amenities in your room you will only find it luxury hotels. The breakfast options are limited, but absolutely delicious. While we were touring in the area, Vicki offered to do laundry for us free of charge.
Vicki and Craig are delightful, recommending local restaurants, and ensuring our stay was perfect. The location is within easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Most spoiling experience at a hotel! Vicki and Craig run what I’d call a very upscale/modern B&B and I can’t recall the last time I felt so taken care of at a hotel. The rooms are extremely well appointed, modern and spacious shower, the AC is excellent, comfy bed and we loved everything about our accommodations. The real gem of the place is in the caretakers. Vicki was able to get our laundry done for us (we’d already been traveling for a week) immediately after we arrived, we were given the most delicious breakfast each morning (multiple options to choose from), unlimited Nespresso coffee, perfect dinner recommendations (do not miss Franks, across the way) and gym passes to a solid gym across the street from the hotel. I’m sad to leave this exceptional hotel, I will remember this as a true highlight of our Australia/NZ adventure! Thank you, Vicki and Craig, for all that you did to make our time in Blenheim 5 stars!

An exceptional hotel a MUST stay if you are in Blenheim . If you want a small quiet boutique hotel close to the city centre this is your place to book.The moment you step through the door you feel welcomed and valued
The hotel is beautifully furnished and the layout of the rooms exudes quality and you have everything you could wish for it is like being at home
Vicki Craig and Janet have created an absolute gem of a boutique hotel and I have to mention the delicious shortbread that was freshly baked and left in our room daily

If you are looking for a boutique hotel in the vibrant heart of Blenheim, look no further than the 14th Lane Urban Hotel. Proprietors Craig, Vicki and Janet will welcome you like one of the family. Stylish amenities abound in both private and public spaces. The rooms are perfectly appointed to meet your every need. Everything looks absolutely brand new and performs perfectly, from the kitchenette with high end appliances, the utiity space, to the super comfortable bedroom area and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast in your room, or in the public dining area is very fresh, artistically presented and full of healthful ingredients. Janet, Vicki & Craig are friendly, helpful and attentive to your every need. All reviews for this hotel are 5 star, that tells you everything you need to know, this hotel is wonderful!

This small boutique hotel is exquisitely decorated with small meaningful details like fresh flowers fine linens and a wonderful modern decor. Our hosts provided a personal touch and pleasant conversation with local winery recommendations and local insight, it was great to make new friends in NZ. Perfect fit for our 4 night stay in Marlborough. My guy and I stayed in the super roomy Luxe Studio and enjoyed the quiet room, beautiful bathroom, and delicious breakfasts delivered each morning. Janet and Craig were super helpful in every way. Parking was easy, as was having a fridge, microwave, and beautiful cutlery and tableware. This place is a find — a little gem of luxury tucked away in Blenheim

My wife and 2 adult kids stayed 2 nights at this boutique hotel. We had 2 rooms connected by a short hall that had a separate door to the 2nd floor of the hotel. This was a very nice arrangement for us which allows privacy when you want but also an easy way to connect both rooms. The hotel and rooms were all spotless and looked like new! We had a wonderful breakfast that they brought to our rooms each morning which made starting each day easy!
I appreciated all the little details they put into the design of our rooms and hotel. You can tell they had a passion for creating this building!
The owners of the hotel were fantastic! We did not have a car with us but they drove us to an area they suggested for a hike and picked us up after we finished the walk. They arranged transportation for our kids to the airport and took us to the train station when it was time to leave. They helped us with dinner recommendations while also making us reservations when needed. We were traveling with a wheel chair and they made it easy by providing a place for us to keep it outside of putting it in a our room and providing any other help when needed. They really treated us like family the entire time we were there!

A great place to stay , beautiful contemporary decor with a high level finish. We loved the attention to detail.
The bed was extremely comfortable.
The room was spacious, very clean and well equipped.
The breakfast was really fresh,tasty and a fair price for the quality and generous portions.
The people there are so lovely , nothing was too much trouble , they helped arranging taxi’s , restaurants and shared their local knowledge , giving us some ideas of what to do during our stay.
We would stay at this hotel again in a heart beat !
