Last minute trying to get a booking. Very accommodating and were able to get in after 10pm. Comfortable room and worked well for us. We got the last unit close to the road but slept well. Undercover parking for the car so stayed dry as we unloaded.

Lovely people owned it, was given feijoas from their tree as well. We needed 3 sleeping areas, there were 2 bedrooms and bed in the lounge, very comfortable sleep although one person heard the traffic noise. Granada’s restaurant over the road was an extra bonus great restaurant.

Lovely welcome,great bed, kitchen spotlessly clean with all we needed.Bathroom well lit and clean, shower pressure not so good. WiFi worked well. Sky tv a bonus for sport.Self help laundry clean with good washing and drying machines. Would stay again when passing.Were there for 2 nights.

We chose this motel because it was close to the Gramados restaurant. It had the normal ammenities of a motel with a comfortable bed, clean and tidy and updated interior. An added bonus was they had undercover parking next to each unit. Would stay here again.

If you dont want a good night sleep then stay here , needs updating for the cost {over priced} On arival we were not impressed with the host, she was upset that we had a different price than the one she was trying to charge us [email was from her husband with the price per night} She had to let us have the room at the price the husbund gave us, she was very angray and droped a few f *** booms like it was our problem and made us feel quite upset, and uncomfortable. Would not recomed this place to anyone

We are disappointed with the tenor of this review, and when taken in the context of our other reviews, it does seem a bit disparate. We would like to point out that the person who booked the accommodation, took the last available 2 bedroom unit in the complex on a very busy weekend, The Forrest Estate Grape Ride, over Grape Harvest. We do not dispute that our complex is on State Highway 1 and is exceedingly busy during grape harvest, which was pointed out to the person who booked the accommodation, ( not this reviewer), at the time of booking. As accommodation was tight in Blenheim, and they left it until the last moment, they went with the booking. We would acknowledge, that we do have other reviews that reinforce the rooms on the road front are noisy, consequently we are taking steps to remedy the problem with sound proof glazing etc. We are so sorry that the guest did not bring this to our attention before they checked out, as we could have addressed it then and there and tendered our apologies in person. We do take issue with the poor ratings of cleanliness, rooms and service as these are not substantiated when looking at our other reviews.

Location is on highway 1 and the trucks go thundering past all night. Obviously a common issue because they had a jar of earplugs in the bathroom. Otherwise clean and tidy but the noise is a killer so cannot be recommended.

Our family stayed two nights recently in a two bedroom apartment. We chose this motel because it is pet friendly and we were travelling with our dog. Brian and Raewyn honestly couldn't have been more inviting and friendly. They were marvellous. They welcomed our Chihuahua who has 'people issues' with open arms, allowed her to go inside the unit, helped us with directions to places and even loaned us towels for taking away from the motel to use during the day. We were so impressed with their service that we will definitely go back to stay. Thank you!

Just had 2 nights here which were great - free upgrade to 2 bed apartment, extra cookies!, nice swimming pool, lovely garden, and an easy stroll into town. Very clean and tidy, and hosts very friendly and helpful. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

Stayed at their studio plus with my husband and my daughter before NYE on the way back to Wellington from Christchurch. Even though it was very busy, the owner Pete was friendly welcoming. The room was perfect size for us and super clean with neutral decoration. Especially the kitchen unit was brand-new (I think we were the first guest after the renovation?). Was so glad they have a hair drier as I needed to dry my daughter's thick long hair after shower. Their body soap dispenser was a bit hard to push the gel out. As the light was fluorescent, it was bright to spend night time. My daughter's most fun place in Blenheim was their trampoline! Thanks for relaxing and enjoying time for all of us.

The Kitchen / Bathroom renovations are approximately 1 year old, nice to read that they are perceived in new condition, as that is testament to the cleanliness standards of our staff. Your comments regarding the lighting are taken on board, and we will review that at our next electrical energy efficiency meeting. We are currently running energy efficient lighting, but technology is always moving the "bar" on this. Delighted with the positive comments on our establishment, thank you.

Stayed here with my husband and 2 kids (14,12) as I was walking the St Clair Half Marathon. When we arrived we got a very friendly reception and nothing was a problem. Walked into our unit that was clean and tidy the bathroom has also just been redone. Would recommend this property to anyone. Wifi had so much free per day then had to pay.
