We had a wonderful two days at Blackley House B&B with Pauline and Mark. They have a beautiful house overlooking the vineyards and Marlborough Golf Course.
They are fantastic hosts welcoming us warmly into their home. They are both very friendly and engage with guests rather than just providing first class accomodation.
The room has beautiful views to wake up to, comfy bed and a convenient en-suite.
Breakfast was perfect in the main dining/kitchen/living room area.
If you ask nicely, Pauline may even be able to take you on a guided wine tour at a much more reasonable rate than the official wine tours!

Mark & Pauline - thank you so much for making our stay such an enjoyable time! Beautiful modern house with views to die for. Incredible hosts who went out of their way to make our stay just a blast. Ideally situated (assuming you have transport) for exploring Blenheim and the surrounding area. Pauline & Mark's insights on places to go made a material difference to us in terms of how much fun and enjoyment we managed to cram into 3 days.

We spent 2 nights here but wished we had organised more. The beautiful house overlooks the golf course and the vineyards and sitting in the spa on a cold night with a glass of local wine was unforgettable. The hosts, Mark and Pauline treated us a friends and not guests, they were amazing. Thank you and hope to see you both in Byron Bay.

Had a great time. Pauline and Mark were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful home with stunning views. Ideally situated close to Blenheim town and wineries and next door to a golf club. We’ll be back!

Overlooking the Wither Hills and Villa Maria vineyards, Blackley House was the perfect place to stay to explore Blenheim. Only 10 minutes out of town it provided a quiet oasis to relax and enjoy spectacular views over the valley. Pauline was an excellent hostess with lots of local knowledge and advice about the region as well as other parts of New Zealand. Accommodation was spotless and our room was comfortable and peaceful - every little detail had been considered. Pauline kindly offered a lift into town (where many establishments also offer courtesy transport back again) and breakfast was fantastic. Thank you Pauline!

Stayed for a week at this bed and breakfast. The room and bathroom was immaculate and part of the main residence. We had a private lounge or we were always welcomed into the owners lounge. Pauline and Mark the hosts were exceptional and a valuable source of information, best restaurants etc. The views from the bedroom were stunning, looking out over a golf course and wineries. There is a spa on the main deck and comfortable seats. There is also seating outside your room if you wanted to be more private.
There was a washing machine, fridge and tea and coffee making facilities in the private kitchen area.
Breakfast was really good with a wide choice, every taste and need catered for.
All in all a really excellent place to stay with the hosts respecting your privacy but also more than happy to be together to discuss where we wanted to go and the best things to do in the area. To be honest we probably would have missed a lot without their recommendations. First class all round. Thanks Mark and Pauline

We visited during our first-ever visit to New Zealand and for a delayed honeymoon. We were already excited for our visit to the Marlborough region of the South Island but our accommodations at Blackley House were a highlight of our brief visit. Our host Pauline was exceedingly gracious and generous with her time and travel advice and assistance. (Sorry we missed meeting you Mark!) We would very much recommend it. The views are outstanding and, quite frankly, we had wished we spent more than the one night in our 2-week itinerary.

We have been traveling around NZ for three weeks , what a delight it was to arrive at Blackley House . This exquisitely appointed home sits above Marlborough Ridge Golf Course , with views of the mountains as far as the eye can see . Our host Pauline has found that perfect balance of warmth ,friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. No detail is spared at Blackley , from the luxurious sheets , immaculate bathrooms , well equipped kitchenette , guest lounge , and private decks . Breakfast was continental, warm homemade muffins when we arrived . We have one regret ....that we didn’t stay longer !

I stayed two nights at the place. The room was very good with really comfortable bed and pillows. It's new, it's fresh, it's clean with nice design. The hosts Pauline and Mark were excellent. They for instance recommended and arranged a very good vine tour on short notice. The surrounding is beautiful with the mountains and the vine yards. The only drawback is that it is quite a distance from "downtown" Blenheim with the restaurants.
