The Bolton has long been my preferred business hotel in Wellington. CBD location, proximity to Parliament & Government Departments together with professional staff and first class facilities make business travel a pleasure here. Hi Jack. I'm pretty sure it stops near the train station which is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You can catch the bus which is very cheap to the train station from the airport then walk. very easy and cheap.

$30 a day valet parking, but we stayed across a weekend and mostly avoided this by leaving it on the metered parking in the street outside. This was free overnight, but did mean either feeding the meter by 9am or moving the car to avoid being fined. Across a holiday long weekend this worked fine for us. There's also a public car park right across the street with cheaper hourly and overnight rates. Ultimately it depends on how much hassle you are prepared to put up with to avoid the $30 fee.
