The hotel is just round the corner from the Parliament and at the bottom of the Botanical Gardens. We were generally very happy with the welcome, the room, and service in general. I have not given a five star rating because there were two overcharges on the bill and the

We had a nice, clean, spacious room for our brief stay here. The in-room iPad Mini was a surprising, useful touch, and the kitchenette -- complete with pots, pans, and dishes -- would have been of use during a longer stay. The staff members we dealt with were excellent and

The Bolton took great care of us, their staff was fantastic. We had a very spacious, comfortable room with a nice view of the city. The location made it very easy for us to walk into town for all the activities we wanted. I can't think of a downside, we had a terrific stay.

My lovely wife and I stayed for three nights at the Bolton. It was sensational. Geographically, it's in just the right place to walk to many places, and even though it is close to Willis street, being one block back makes it very quiet and peaceful. The staff are so friendly and

Rarely do I give a full 5 stars to any hotel-- go look me up. Not only must the accommodation meet certain standards-- but the can do attitude of the staff, willingness to put up with a customers "smelly dusty smoke" in the room and brings in a fan to clear the "air" as the

Hi Jack. I'm pretty sure it stops near the train station which is only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You can catch the bus which is very cheap to the train station from the airport then walk. very easy and cheap.

Hi Sally There is a bus stop 50 or 60 meters from the front door of the hotel. The Wellington railway station is less than 10 minutes walk. Te Papa is a 20 minute walk. We look forward to having you come and stay with us. Warwick Angus

What is the cost to park our car, please?
$30 a day valet parking, but we stayed across a weekend and mostly avoided this by leaving it on the metered parking in the street outside. This was free overnight, but did mean either feeding the meter by 9am or moving the car to avoid being fined. Across a holiday long weekend this worked fine for us. There's also a public car park right across the street with cheaper hourly and overnight rates. Ultimately it depends on how much hassle you are prepared to put up with to avoid the $30 fee.

Cost from hotel to airport by shuttle?
Good morning Lizlam, You have a few options to choose from 1. Airport flyer bus which takes roughly 40-45 minutes and will departs Lambton Quay stop which is about 500 metres from the hotel and costs $9 per person. 2. Super Shuttle which takes around 30 minutes and as we are the last pick up on the circuit it is a relatively short trip - this is $20 per person for the first person and $6 per extra guest (Max charge for shuttle $60) 3. Taxi takes around 20-30 minutes and costs around $40-55 and we can organise a pre-booked corporate cab through the hotel which has a special set price rate of $41 Call us on 04 472 9966 or email us at info if you would like us to assist with your transport. Thanks

Hi, can we park our small camper van and how much does it cost? Thank you!
I doubt that you could park your van in the hotel but I am sure they could advise you where you could park it nearby
