Amazing place for us to stop between travelling South and North Island. The hotel is central to everything. We were looking for a room with a view but we booked the studio, the staff ensure we got a nicer room with a view with $20, car park at $30 a day reasonable price since it in the middle of the city. The reception team is lovely, especially Leo. Will be my go to hotel from now!

We stayed here for a single night while in Welly. It's in a good location if you're on that side of the CBD (we had a gig up the road at the Dominion Museum Building and it couldn't have taken more than 5 mins to walk up there). Close to Courtenay Place.
We got the cheapest room available, and while it was small, it was clean and comfortable. The outside noise was blocked out completely when the balcony doors were closed. Parking is available at the parking building next door (we booked via the hotel and parked in their reserved parking spaces).

Dear Bronwyn878, It sounds like you had a convenient and comfortable stay with us during your visit to Wellington! We're pleased to hear that our location was ideal for your needs, especially being close to Courtenay Place and just a short walk from the Dominion Museum Building for your gig. Even though you opted for our cheapest room, we're glad to know that it was clean and comfortable for your stay. It's great to hear that the balcony doors effectively blocked out outside noise, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. Thank you for taking advantage of our reserved parking spaces in the parking building next door. We strive to provide convenient options for our guests. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to welcome you back again in the future! Best regards, Leo Ha Front Office Manager Tory Hotel at Century City

Hi, I dropped in here for a girls' trip into town with a family member. The location was great. Even though it's very close to the CBD, the design of the balcony meant that very little sound enters the building. Great mini-kitchen, also a washer-dryer. Perfectly sized for a single business traveller (only one armchair, no couch so not suitable for 2). You could comfortably live here for a few days.
Service was great including reception being happy to match the price of external booking provider when I informed them it was a lot lower than their direct price. Would happily stay again.

The hotel room is different from other hotels with full kitchen facilities. There is a gym and pool on the top floor, the pool is unique, and you can look down at the city. The car park is in the building next to the hotel. To be honest you don't need a car since the hotel is located very centrally.

Plus point, the staff is really friendly and accommodating, if you need anything just ask them it will be sorted.

Definitely will be back!

Beautiful place on Tory Street. The hotel has all we need. Full kitchen and washing machine. They do not have aircon but the staff do offer you a fan on request. Staff are lovely. Just 4 minute away from Cuba and Courtney. Car park is $30 which might sound expensive but Wilson parking is like $40.

Would come back to stay again!

Great location - walkable to many local attractions and close to bars and restaurants. Whilst our room didn't have a view it was very clean, well set out, comfortable and had everything we needed. Amazingly quiet for downtown - we slept well! Car park access a little bit dodgy but otherwise a good extra to add on if you have a car (not that you need one). Staff very friendly.

We have visited Tory once before and were struck by the distinguished service from other hotel.

The room has full kitchen facilities, washer and dryer. It was a surprise since other hotels just have a bed in their room. The friendly and helpful reception made the stay exceptional. This a Gem in Wellington as you can get the same price as other hotels and you have more facilities.

the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly and sorted our washing when the machine in our room was out of order. The gym is small but had most things need to do a hotel workout. though there is not toilet or changeing rooms in the gym and pool which makes it more inconvenient to do those activities.
