Room size was satisfactory. Facilities like TV and being able to make a hot drink was ok. Otherwise staying here served it's purpose of being reasonably near the airport. Sound proofing and double glazing would be beneficial.

The motel is tidy and clean, very good location, easy to go to the wellington zoo and city center.

No hair dryer in the room but I asked reception, they provided it to me, I even borrowed a rice cooker and an iron from them.

The young couple are the new owners of this motel, they are friendly and helpful.

We got 2 WiFi access codes which is enough for use.

Car park is narrow but free, and they allowed us leave the car here for another half day for free after we checked out which was very helpful for us

The rooms are very small but big enough for a couple. The motel is on a busy road so if you don't mind the sound of traffic then you will be ok. Great access to the hospital and within walking distance to Countdown. If you're looking for luxury then this motel is not the one for you, but it does the job. Some of the self contained units are very basic and the appliances are almost ancient. Other than that, it's relatively clean and tidy. We stayed there because it was around the corner from the Netball centre we were playing at. Not sports team friendly but would possibly stay again with one other. Short distance away from the airport.

Burnt bedding. Plates had old food on them. Yellow marks splashed over walls. Filthy shower. Showered with socks on. Slept on top of bed and not under blankets. Refused to pay the xtra that cancer society didn’t pay. Room stunk of smoke. Tried to charge extra for compliment tea and coffee. Loud party in room above.

We just arrived here after share frustration of driving round wellington trying to find a motel. This place is so dirty and disgusting. There is rat/ mouse poo in the bathroom. No toilet roll, tissues on the top of the toilet. Worn dirty carpet. Dirty bathroom, just disgusting and i just paid 125 for this. I cant believe these people can run a business.

Motel has recently been refurbished with new kitchens and bathrooms. Very clean, bed firm but silky sheets. Space was a bit tight but thats because there was 12 of us occupying a room at one time - we booked two units and had 3 visitors. Countdown Supermarket across the road and Colombus Cafe - excellent breakfast. It is on a very busy road and access for cars is ver tight but otherwise very good accom.

Top marks for location to Newtown walking distance to hospital, shopping and supermarket on your doorstep and easy access to city attractions. Parking limited but free and surprisingly quiet. free wifi included.Staff friendly. Motel unit small and adequate for short stay but dated and could do with a good spring clean and update.

Ok so I understand cheap but you should still be able to sleep in cheap.
Noisy traffic, sirens etc... We could hear everything from upstairs!!! E V E R Y T H I N G!
Linen was clean but the place was pretty average all up. If you want cheap at this place bring ear plugs! Heavy duty ones.

I stayed here a while ago, I will not forget the experience I had. Absolutely shocking. Being frank, I have stayed in many, many motels throughout my life and this sticks out in my memory by far. Firstly the room wasn't ready. I had come from visiting the hospital across the road and wanted the room ready early. The guy was a grumpy bloke with a piss poor attitude. I went to the room, a lovely cleaning lady was there who tried to make me more comfortable whilst she was finishing off. The bed, I warn you, the bed was something chronic.
Caveman would have chosen the rock and prisoners would go back behind bars. As horrible as it sounds, we aren't difficult customers but this was a disappointing motel especially if there are family members or friends visiting the hospital needing the comfort, I would hope they chose somewhere else.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting at the nearby Mary Potter Hospice, which is in walking distance of the motel. We had a one-bedroom unit, which was a good idea because all rooms are small and this gave us a bit more space. Everything was clean and tidy, though basic. The stove top was old and the main element worked only on full, which made cooking a bit tricky. However, there was a microwave oven. The queen bed was comfortable and clean and the bathroom, though tiny, was clean, with a good hot shower. A Countdown supermarket just a stone's throw away is a big plus. Parking is minimal and awkward, but the motel's good location means it is easy to walk or to catch a bus. Neighbours above and beside were noisy and the walls were not very soundproof - but we did not notice traffic noise. Not an expensive place.
