Such a lovely experience staying at QT Wellington, the staff at Reception were very welcoming and VERY accommodating. We had an amazing Christmas themed High Tea in the Hippopotamus Restaurant, with lovely attentive smiling staff. I found ALL the staff at every level very pleasant which makes for a comfortable stay to see people happy at their work. We;ll be back.

Fantastic hotel, loved that it was full of art. Amazing room. Great location. Fantastic service, the staff were lovely. Only irritation was that we booked a taxi to the airport with reception staff in plenty of time, only to find on the day that it hasn’t been booked. Also I broke my ring because the fridge door was strangely close to the bottom of the cabinet below it.

Great location and view over harbour. Right in the centre of Wellington and within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. Nice pool. Valet parking was really convenient and efficient.

Lovely spot in centre of town and pool and jacuzzi away nice. Bar staff and smashing cup of coffee in gallery bar. Sadly let down by a few things, making it feel less luxurious and more overpriced, unfortunately; - overcharged in error by $30 on checkin (refunded after I pointed it out) - pool and jacuzzi accessibility issues - damaged tiles and jet nobs broken or missing on jacuzzi - dangerously slippery floor in gym shower rooms - no USM ports for charging in apartment rooms - only two coffee pods for 2 adults overnight unless we wanted decaf. Could only have 1 cup and none then available for breakfast. - disappointing to find the gorgeous painting by Tame Iti has gone from collection and reception only advised ‘it’s been removed’ - apartment rooms looking tired with laminate warping off cupboard doors…

So, we apologies things weren’t as comfy as they could have been in regard to the state of your room and amenities provided. Shower has fairly low water pressure. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Was only in for a night so did not get to use any of the other facilities. View out the window to the gym and lane pool was a little disconcerting when I first pulled back the curtains...

Average average average. A tired room with a TV 12 metres from the bed in sparsely furnished long unusual room. Cleaning around shower needed work. Wasn’t helped that they forgot to make up our room and when we asked were told everyone gone home for day and offered a $10 dining voucher. Dropped off clean towels onto bed when we were out but didn’t remove wet towels. Drapes were different lengths. For the price we paid we expected more and we won’t be staying again. The saving grace was the breakfasts at Hippopotamus and service there was really very good. And a great dinner at Hot Sauce. Bed comfortable. We’ve stayed at the QT in Queenstown and this sadly didn’t compare.

The room was very nice great friendly staff the bed very comfortable and an easy central location. Good views from my room. Excellent room service great breakfast. Sadly the restaurant was not open on my stay so will have to come back to try it.

The art in the hotel is wonderful. We really enjoyed all of it, inside and out. The room was very comfortable. We found the instructions for the appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher) to be insufficient and in the case of the washer/dryer, the instructions were incorrect. We stayed 3 nights. On both days when we came back from our outings, housekeeping was in our room, doing their work. This was at about 3 pm. That was an inconvenience. The location of the hotel is perfect. We liked being so close to the museum and the harbor.

Really outstanding design is what sets this place apart. Impressive choice of decor throughout the hotel. Room is also great, spacious with all you need, awesome working desk and really wonderful bath. Service and reception were quick and pleasant. Overall great impression, will definitely stay again!
