Naumi Hotel Wellington, a sensory dreamland where you can stay high and get low on Wellington’s electric Cuba Street. Play, nestle, indulge and colour outside the lines at our brand-new boutique hotel for romantics, bohemians, trendsetters, adventurers and wayfarers who seek the finer things in life. With a familiar atmosphere, the new hotel tower borders Naumi Hotel Wellington and compromises of 62 spacious large rooms, more like a studio apartment than a hotel guestroom: invoking a sense of home – away from home, so you can rest and rejuvenate in undeniable comfort. Bold palettes and delightful design reflect the essence of Naumi – A kaleidoscope of accents, expertly refined. With nature as our muse, distinct colour blocks in each rooms invite tranquility: lilac, avocado green, rusty red and subtle turmeric = reminiscent of a Wellington sunset – tastefully juxtapose with ultra-modern carpet, where diagonal stripes run below your feet in fluorescent hues.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Overall a great stay. Only real negative was not the best sleep. Bed was comfy but pillows were really bulky and uncomfortable. Great for sitting up to watch the massive t.v. if thats what your into but would be good to have a thinner pillow option. Husband and I said next time we'll bring our own from home.

Everything was perfect, the staff, the fancy decor, the cleanliness; a great super spacious room, nice bathroom and just an overall excellent experience. Will come back, the hotel is in a super central location.

Large, spacious rooms with all the amenities you need inclusing Nespresso machine. Complimentary mini bar was a nice touch. Modern, stylish hotel with incredible decor. The hotel bar is a must and the set menu at the restaurant is incredible. There is a lolly station that kids would love too! Fantastic stay - 10/10.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon on which a large festival was being hosted in downtown Wellington. The hotel offers first come, first served parking, which was full. We had to park in a garage about four blocks away. It’s a really chic place that is actually two hotels - heritage and normal. The normal side is more expensive; the heritage side is a converted older building in which the rooms don’t have AC. Our room was on the west side, and really hot. It was also right over Cuba St but, after we closed the windows, there wasn’t much street noise. They have a nice bar with snacks, and the food and drinks were great.

Hi Bryan, Thank you for choosing Naumi for your recent trip to Wellington. Cuba Dupa is a fantastic street festival which is located right out the front of our hotel on Cuba Street. I apologise that you were unable to secure parking with us or find a spot nearby. Due to the festival, parking was hard to come by and I understand the frustration this would have caused. We hope to welcome you back in the not too distant future. Regards Team Naumi.

Very disappointing. A cheap tart up from when it was called the Quality Hotel. Same old bathrooms that are not fit for purpose. Pleased to say the bed was fine and the location is convenient. We won't be staying again and we certainly won't recommend it.

Stayed in mid March 2024 for two nights. Overall the hotel is very stylish and beautiful to look at and was very impressed by the set up and the location of it. Cuba street is vibrant full of life especially in the restaurants and bars. We were located on the first floor and had a pretty snug (small) twin bed room with no decent view at all (just another roof) but that wasnt a huge problem. Room had everything you needed but as a 6ft 3 (190 cm) guy I struggled to sleep and the bed width wasnt that great either. Breakfast was an additional charge $29 if you stayed in hotel or $32 if not which sadly for me wasnt worth the money. I do like my English type spread fry up and the choice wasnt great, bacon over cooked, baked beans was in fact broad beans, sausages felt barely cooked and warm only and the potatoes felt pretty hard and tasteless yes I was dissapointed sadly. We even had problems with the toaster. If you dont like fry ups then you do have a decent selection of cererals etc. Not worth $29 / $32 It was a shame as would rated the hotel more but the breakfast let me down. No complaints about the staff who were vety friendly.
