a good stay for a couple of days, rooms very small on the 1st floor, but restaurant and bar area very boutique with a great warm atmosphere. second stay within a month but will be staying on another level with bigger rooms next time. beds very comfortable.
I have stayed at Naumi Studio several times. The staff are great, friendly helpful and make everything seam effortless. Rooms are really funky and modern and clean. Beds are really comfortable and always a great nights sleep. Parking is secure and on-site but does cost extra, but you don't need to worry about leaving your vehicle on the street. Naumi is now my first choice for my regular trips to Wellington.
Two nights for a business trip.Great location on Cuba St. Room had a strong smokers smell unfortunately so that was disappointing. Left the windows open and was out for most of the two days anyway. I go here when in Wellington fir the location mainly and familiarity. Was hoping the gym facilities would be available this time but no.
Room was too stuffy I couldn’t sleep through the night. I checked out around 4am and security staff said everyone went home. The Hotel website says front desk operates 24hours daily. I checked out leaving the swipe keys on the desk and just walked out. No one has called to address this issue. Where’s my bond money?
Nice clean and friendly staff who met every request I made with goodwill. They make a lovely buffet breakfast on one of the mornings but would be great if it was every morning. Rooms have no coffee/occasional table but you can ask for one.
Who puts single beds in a hotel room? Promoting yourself as boutique but lack the basic comforts. Noisy and the room was just not comfortable for what they charge. Worst sleep ive had in a while and i travel weekly and stay in a lot of different hotels. This one will never see me again!
Great interior vibe and attentive service. The only downside was the very small rooms with no aircon which is not usually a problem in Wellington but we had a very hot day. Fun location in heart of Cuba St so great for eating and taking photos.
Rooms are very compact (tiny) so it doesn’t take much for the room to heat up. There is no air con so it can get a little uncomfortable not being able to cool the room down (particularly when blow drying, ironing etc in the room)!
It is quite clear they are putting all the money into the lobby, restaurant and bar area. The rooms have nothing to justify their price. It is a very loud place with door slamming and loud noises all through the night. If you want a good night sleep, don’t bother. The bar staff is not super friendly we tried to go twice and both times we were ignored, they made us feel invisible standing at the bar for 15 minutes trying to get someone’s attention. We left both time. The “city view” is basically the back of the hotel, so view on the roof and other rooms. My partner called it an overpriced backpackers, she wasn’t wrong. Very disappointed about the whole thing.
This old Salvation Army heritage building has been renovated beautifully. It is chic yet homely. We are overjoyed to find that there had just been a cancellation after walking in to enquire for a vacancy. It was raining and cold and the moment we stepped into the foyer, it felt very welcoming. Oh, just remembered that it would have been good to have had lower sleeping pillows.
