Colonial Court Motor Inn provided me with all of the creature comforts of home, with an added sense of luxury. Kris and the staff were very friendly and attentive, and made me feel like no request was too much or too trivial. I stayed in the three bedroom house and it was spotless. The bed and pillows were heavenly, the decor was modern, warm and inviting. I won’t be able to settle for anything less after my stay here! I highly recommend this motel and I will be encouraging any family and friends to stay here when they visit from out of town. Book this place, you will not regret it!

We arrived with a family of 5 and we were given the White Glove treatment throughout our 4 day stay. The owners are amazing - Kris gave us a personal touch to ensure we had the best experience not only at the hotel but during our stay in Tauranga and guided us to some of the best restaurants in NZ! The rooms are spacious and immaculate and the grounds are beautiful with an awesome pool and bbq area with outdoor seating for everyone. We were so appreciative of the hospitality - It was hard to leave! Highly recommend!

This place is amazing! Chris and the team are super friendly and go the extra mile to look after their guests. The room was very clean and spacious and came with little extras like cotton tips which was a nice surprise and many other. Great location and facilities. The moment we arrived we knew we picked the right place. The vibes were great and I could feel that Chris took pride in delivering a service and experience to remember. The AC worked very well and the room was spotless and setup nicely. The spa worked perfectly. The TV and Sky box had no issues. They also have DVD collection to choose from. Everything you would need was there. There were so many things that could go wrong when you try out a new place but this was not the case at Colonial Court Motor Inn... I have absolutely no complaints and wished I stayed longer. I will definitely be coming back here and can’t wait! Keep up the amazing work team.

Booked here based on previous reviews and was not disappointed, it was excellent. From the warm welcome on arrival by Kris, then being shown to our room and things like the remotes explained, to having the offer to store our bikes -our stay began perfect. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, all products were eco friendly including the complimentary can of water, Air conditioning in room was very efficient which was good, and large bathroom with shower that had good pressure. A bonus extra were two drying racks which were great for washing. Grounds are immaculate and we had a lovely swim in the pool which was a good temperature, clean and in a nice fenced area with a BBQ and plenty of outdoor furniture. We were really pleased with this motel and highly recommend it.

Faultless. Everything was excellent; spotlessly clean, very well appointed. Host called ahead a asked what our eta was so that the heat pump was switched on for us. Good to see a solid environmental policy and recycling encouraged- this often is missed in motels. Superbly comfortable beds and awesome sleep quality.

Great room with all the facilities I needed for my stay and more, even a well stocked little kitchen area. There was a comfortable bed, the owner Chris was fantastic and went above and beyond ensuring I was comfortable and had all the information I needed, even giving me fresh avacados from the tree which was in fruit. Close to the centre of tauranga and an easy drive to the beach.

Could not fault the Colonial Lodge Motor Inn.
Being a group of 6, we really struggled to find somewhere to stay. Kris really looked after us and went above and beyond! We had a 3 bedroom unit which was immaculate and so comfortable!
The local restaurant/cafe recommendations were very appreciated and honestly some of the best food we've ever eaten!
When we come back to Tauranga, we will definitely look to book here.

We were a hockey group that had been trying to attend a tournament the last 3 years that was delayed because of Covid. Kris was very accommodating to our requests and changes. The Motor Inn was always spotless and cleaned to a high standard and the rooms were great. We had two houses which were a great base for our teams as well as different sized units. I would highly recommend staying here if you are travelling to Tauranga.

This must be our third or fourth stay at Colonial Court Motel 😘. Excellent location and handy for visiting all sites in Tauranga and around. Owner Kris is helpful and always communicates promptly.
We managed to book the One-bedroom premium unit in our recent two stays. The unit is spacious, homely, and cosy. Also, this unit’s corner location adds extra privacy to our stay.
As long as Kris stays in charge, we will keep Colonial Court Motel as our Tauranga home 🏡.
