We enjoyed 4 great nights on power site 34 with our camper van. This camp is pristine with spotless bathroom block (love the music in toilets) good showers and clean kitchen.Camp is on the water edge so great sunsets and peaceful nights. Lovely owners who were helpful from booking through to departure, and provide helpful area advice and WiFi which was much appreciated.Loved that our old dog was able to stay and enjoy walks around Tauranga with us.

We booked Friday Waitangi Day weekend, the park was easy to find, a very handy location and very comfortable and there is a pleasant boardwalk behind the grounds The facility were fantastic bbqs supplied clean and easy to use, the absolute cleanest toilet blocks ever and good hot showers. Well behaved dogs were welcome and their owners.
This park is very well managed.

This place is a real gem. Lovely management and spotlessly clean. After spending the past 10 nights staying in Top 10s we really loved this park for its simplicity, friendliness and decent pricing. Nice spot right by the estuary with nice view from our site too. We look forward to returning on our next family ticki-tour campervan adventure. Thanks!

Booked in for one night stayed two. Lovely friendly host. Very well kept and maintained site for campervans, caravans and tents. Excellent shower and toilet block very clean. Lounge with tv and library plus charging facilities for phones etc. two bbq’s can be booked for use via reception. Good walk way - board walk 2 minutes off site. Close to Tauranga and all on offer there. Dog friendly usual rules apply. Some permanent residents on site. One person complained to us as soon as we arrived as our dog was not on a leash. We had just set up in campervan, let dog out and gave him water. Assured chap dog was going on leash however he chose to complain anyway. Host handled situation beautifully very friendly, introduced herself to our dog, clearly loves dogs. Ensured in a very friendly way we were aware of camp rules. She was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely go back really enjoyed our stay and made very welcome 😊

We booked a self contained cabin which was like a modern little portacom and quite private.
Compact, but everything one would need, including 2 TVs! Even a little trellised area outside the door.
Our hosts were friendly and helpful.
The tourist park is secured by gated arm entry with a keypad code.
We just had time to fit in a board walk across the water (sea) which is right beside the tourist park.

We stayed three nights in the ensuite cabin and loved our stay. The whole park is in excellent condition and we especially loved the kitchen garden where you can pick fresh herbs for your cooking. The owners were lovely and helpful. There are also good laundry facilities. As for wifi- we got 200 MB for free. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

We stayed here for one night on the way North to the Coromandel and booked the en-suite cabin. We had a lovely friendly welcome and were amazed at what we got for the very reasonable fee. The cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The bed linen was good quality and they even supplied towels. They were generous with their free Wi-Fi. The site was in a good location and very quiet. I'd certainly stay here again.

Wish I had known about this place sooner. We liked it so much that we decided to stay an extra night. It was lovely and clean, well maintained (mentioned a squeaky door and they immediately fixed it), friendly staff, felt safe, great location. Home away from home

Great park. Good price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location right on the river and with the shops and a pub (Wolds End) just down the road with a 5 min drive. It doesn't really seem to be a family or holiday park. Its seems more like a place which has lots of grey nomads. Maybe it was the time of year, but it was school holidays. Very clean and accessible facilities. I would stay here again as a base to visit from no problems. Great value for money.

The welcome and farewell were great , not a problem.
The cabin itself , excellent not a problem.
The facilities were clean and acceptable.
The Disappointment we had was we were in a block of around six or so cabins and there were only two cabins occupied. For peace and quiet you would think we would be put at each end of the block but we were put next to each other.
Not sure of the age of the couple next to us but aside from the snoring which could be heard through the walls I counted at least eight times they got up through the night to the bathroom . Every wooden board in their room creaked to the door and when they returned. Then they left around seven in the morning.
They would have been better off asking for a cabin closest to the facilities which would have suited us because they were at the furtherest end and away from us.
We were only there for one night . If we return I will be asking to be away from others .
