Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Basic. Functional. Stayed in a cabin. Politely described as functional. Good points - amazingly clean. Like the cleanest holiday park we’ve ever stayed in. - bathrooms were immaculate - clear pride in their grounds work Not so good points - kitchen facilities. Lack of knives and utensils - the beds. Oh the beds. I think my child was younger than the mattress! And only one pillow. And a rubbish pillow at that. Can and must do better on the bed! Overall 3/5. Functional. Was what it was. Would we chose to recommend to others - probably not.

We booked Friday Waitangi Day weekend, the park was easy to find, a very handy location and very comfortable and there is a pleasant boardwalk behind the grounds The facility were fantastic bbqs supplied clean and easy to use, the absolute cleanest toilet blocks ever and good hot showers. Well behaved dogs were welcome and their owners. This park is very well managed.

We booked a self contained cabin which was like a modern little portacom and quite private. Compact, but everything one would need, including 2 TVs! Even a little trellised area outside the door. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The tourist park is secured by gated arm entry with a keypad code. We just had time to fit in a board walk across the water (sea) which is right beside the tourist park.

This is my second visit here. This time I splashed out on a self-contained cabin. It had its own bathroom and kitchenette. No need to go outside in the night. The bed and all facilities were great. Friendly staff and occupants.

This place is a real gem. Lovely management and spotlessly clean. After spending the past 10 nights staying in Top 10s we really loved this park for its simplicity, friendliness and decent pricing. Nice spot right by the estuary with nice view from our site too. We look forward to returning on our next family ticki-tour campervan adventure. Thanks!

We have stayed at this motor camp numerous times over the past 7 years and always found it consistently good. The powered sites are a good size with water close and easy dump station. The facilities are spotless and well maintained and also the grounds. The hosts are really friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome. Easy access to the inlet for a walk . Would highly recommend 😄

Booked in for one night stayed two. Lovely friendly host. Very well kept and maintained site for campervans, caravans and tents. Excellent shower and toilet block very clean. Lounge with tv and library plus charging facilities for phones etc. two bbq’s can be booked for use via reception. Good walk way - board walk 2 minutes off site. Close to Tauranga and all on offer there. Dog friendly usual rules apply. Some permanent residents on site. One person complained to us as soon as we arrived as our dog was not on a leash. We had just set up in campervan, let dog out and gave him water. Assured chap dog was going on leash however he chose to complain anyway. Host handled situation beautifully very friendly, introduced herself to our dog, clearly loves dogs. Ensured in a very friendly way we were aware of camp rules. She was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely go back really enjoyed our stay and made very welcome 😊

We enjoyed 4 great nights on power site 34 with our camper van. This camp is pristine with spotless bathroom block (love the music in toilets) good showers and clean kitchen.Camp is on the water edge so great sunsets and peaceful nights. Lovely owners who were helpful from booking through to departure, and provide helpful area advice and WiFi which was much appreciated.Loved that our old dog was able to stay and enjoy walks around Tauranga with us.

A gem so close to town... And far enough off the main road to be nice & quiet. We stayed in a basic cabin with a double bed, hand basin, fridge, tv, wifi, kettle, dishes etc. you can hire bedding if required although we took our own this time. The cabins can be very warm at night even with the window left open. The facilities are very clean and close by. There is a fully self contained cabin which is very popular. A lovely motorcamp not far from town, and there is a great fish & chip shop within walking distance.
