Clean rooms, linen washed and comfortable beds, although dated. It’s an older property, older style layout and the rooms are extremely warm.

Had everything we needed - clean rooms and well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds, big TV, balcony overlooking a small rose garden. Nice to also have a private mineral pool to soak in too. Short 3m drive to town.
I "love" soaking in geothermal hot pools and the Phoenix
has them. The ground floor pools are located in simple
outside structures which our case was showing some
painted over faults.
Very comfortable stay with. "Staff" freindly and informative.

Concur with all previous answers. The hotel is located on the main road, but it is on the quiet end of town. I certainly did not notice the noise and the rooms are well insulated. It would not be fair to describe the distance to town for restaurants as 'walking distance'.
