This establishment is classed as a resort bit is really only a motel which is part of the Golden Chain of "Superior Accommodation" which is a misnomer. We booked through Interval International but the "Resort" is nowhere near the standard of other world class establishments. Admittedly the room is self contained but the dining table is very small and can only just accommodate two people. The bedroom is upstairs and is very difficult to approach by means of a narrow steep staircase which is very difficult to reach especially since all the other facilities in the unit are downstairs.
We booked on the phone and there was a bit of a mix up because the receptionist said she would accept the booking of 5 kids with 2 adults, however when we got there, on their computer it showed only 4 kids ..so we were put on the spot for a moment about what to do. However a quick check of the email confirmation showed that 5 was as originally accepted and so.. .. the reception graciously honoured that (although we were both confused as to how that could happen.) The rooms are modern and clean, with heater and electric blankets. We stayed in the two story which had 2 bedrooms upstairs and the bathroom and a sofa-bed downstairs. Enjoyable and relaxing mineral pool big enough for a kids paddle is in a private enclosed deck area at the rear. Theres a well tended garden and…
Perfect for families as there is bedrooms, kitchen & a living room as well as private thermal spa. Note that it is a short distance from the downtown area but this town has taxi service for a reasonable price. Great for both short and long term stays.
The room was very nice with a large up to date television. Geo thermal spa bath at rear. Very friendly and helful staff. Beautiful court yard with barbecue facilities. Price was very reasonable. Thoroughly recommend.
Lovely and clean. Comfy bed. Good shower. Decent size room. Nice outlook onto rose garden with lake in distance. Bit dated but comfortable enough. Only downside was the hot tub was not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there is no step to get down into it and it is a very big drop. Needs a seat inside so you can step down onto the seat and then sit on it (as there is no seating in the tub). No air conditioning but fan available.
