This really is home away from home. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed in 2 bedroom unit which was on 2 levels with a nice private mineral pool. Basic kitchen with everything you need in there.
We arrived late from Wellington because the desert road was closed because of snow. The receptionist phoned us to make sure we were still coming, and we assured he we were. Luckily we got there just before 8pm (reception shut after this time). The welcome...More

I would 100% stay again, the lovely receptionist was very welcoming and we feel like she went above and beyond. Because we arrived later at night during winter she had turned on the heater to warm up the room for us.

Concur with all previous answers. The hotel is located on the main road, but it is on the quiet end of town. I certainly did not notice the noise and the rooms are well insulated. It would not be fair to describe the distance to town for restaurants as 'walking distance'.
