Stayed just one night. Booked as we drove and were really well attended to by the owner. Very attractive price. What a lovely surprise!! Big, big rooms. Super clean and tidy. Looks like it’s had a recent refurb. The style is “Old School Kiwiana”, and in today’s world of generic kitsch, is so cool, without trying to be so. A short walk to town centre and the lake. Pet friendly. Very quiet. We will be back! Highly recommended.

Hi Warwick, what an absolutely fantastic review. To us the place feels like you're traditional kiwi bach and with the current decor and refurb (completed a few years ago now), it feels fresh. We booked the 3 bedroom apartment and really enjoyed it! The Manager and staff were super friendly and helpful. The apartment was perfect for us and was cleaned everyday. We even enjoyed the private spa pool. Things we really enjoyed were: - Friendly Staff - Daily room cleaning - Parking space for 2 cars - Great location (especially if you want to experience Rotorua and Tongariro also. Also got a great price on their website. Really happy with this Motel!

The hotel easy to locate along rafle range road. Clean and with kitchenette. Owner is friendly and helpful. A small convenient store and a butcher is just across the road. Do note that they close early around evening time.

We only stayed for one night. The motel was clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. An ideal location a short walk from the lake and about 15 mins walk from the main shops and restaurants. There is dairy across the road.

We stayed here for a weekend with friends and enjoyed the stay. The motel was clean and tidy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's short walk from the lake and about 10 - 15 mns walk from the main shops and restaurants although there is one more or less opposite.
