Location is superb, by the lake and opposite the reserved park, a unique untreated mineral water from underground bore on site, all our ground floor rooms have private mineral tubs(self filling and adjustalbe temperature); An outdoor thermal spa area will be open by the end of October 2024; Soak in your soul ! A choice for rejuvenated, relaxed holiday in the heart of North Island in New Zealand. Adult only and pets free accommodation.

Super friendly and helpful staff, extremely clean and well appointed rooms, we had the 2 bedroom and it was very spacious with a great balcony. A 180’ view of the lake 🌟🌟🌟 Thermal bath was very good, easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and cafes. Would definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

An extremely friendly welcome from our host. Our accommodation was not the most modern we stayed in and consisted of a large room with large bed and sofa, dining room with table and chairs, kitchen, bathroom with shower and a seperate spa bath in a room attached to the rear. There was a large TV with 3 Sky Sports channel plus Discovery. Internet speed @ 25Mbps / 9.5 which was OK for email, but wouldn't support streaming. The self contained kitchen had a full coker, kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge. Airconditioning with heating. The lighting throughout is a bit quirky. The views from the decking outside, where there are tables and chairs is lovely. 2km from town and the nearest supermarket.

Huge suite with private thermal pool and kitchenette gave us everything we needed. Laundry facilities on site and a great geo-thermally heated pool as well as two communal thermal pools. Loads to do in and around Taupo. Great base and lovely to relax in.

We stayed in the lakeside view 2 bed apartment which had wonderful views particularly at sunset. We made use of the pools which was a good addition and lovely to use after dinner. The apartment decor was very quirky and had everything we needed. The hotel was a good 20 minutes walk down to the main part but this was great as you could walk the whole stretch of the lake. Watch out for midges at night which don’t bite but there was huge volumes of them so you have to be careful with keeping windows and doors closed. Overall would recommend to stay here.

Modern, comfortable and well equipped unit with own private pool. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location was near enough to main shopping area to be handy yet still quiet with no traffic noise Would stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous place with attention and care to detail - you can really feel a lot of love has been put into the place. The owner/manager was quirky and friendly - we appreciated her warmth and hospitality. We had our own private thermal spa just off the bedroom with lake views leading on to a massive deck on the corner of the park and beach. You can dig for hot water right outside on the lake too! Will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

It is the first time we have stayed but it will not be the last. The room was huge with a massive bed which was very comfortable, separate dining room, kitchen, views across the lake and last but not least, a private deep hot tub in a covered verandah. A 10 minute walk into town along the lake front for an evening meal so no need to drive. Friendly and helpful service - thank you for a great stay.

Very tired motel. Booked through booking.com. Seriously overpriced for what it is. Location is fine, but awful traffic noise. Bedroom/ unit photos bear no resemblance to actual room. Dark, with poor design ( making unit feel very small) and horrible damp smell in bathroom which had mould in the shower. Can’t recommend. Won’t stay again

No complaints regarding accommodation but parking spaces were limited. We had a cabin with private thermal pool. I discovered that unfortunately I reacted very badly to the hot moist air which pervaded the room and found sleeping difficult as it left me constantly sneezing and uncomfortable.

Room very comfortable that included kitchenette with dining room and huge thermal spa. Pool and laundry facilities included if you chose to use them. The deck outside of our room was located with excellent views of Lake Taupo where we enjoyed incredible sunsets over a glass of wine.
