Motel offered everything we look for in a Motel. Staff were extremely courteous, offering to carry luggage upstairs. All facilities first class. Parking was close to the unit, and even all the cutlery was neatly arranged in the drawer. Bedside clock was plugged in and set to the correct time, which seems to be a rarity.

I have stayed here a couple of times and the check in formalities are always friendly and quick. The rooms are spacious and clean however noise between rooms and from the car park below can often be noisey. The location of the Motel is relatively central to the main center of time which is less than 5min drive away.

The unit we stayed in was a small studio and very good value for the price we paid. The unit had all the amenities we needed for our one night stay. The manager very friendly and helpful and the unit was spotlessly clean. The motel was easy walking distance ( about 750metres ) to the main shopping precinct and the lakefront. Even though the motel is located on a reasonably busy road we did not hear any traffic noise during the night which was a nice bonus.

We chose Bella Vista motel for our family vacation to Taupo this winter. So glad we did! Our whanau were warmly welcomed by Jason and his family. We were well taken care of through our stay and even when we moved rooms Jason and his team made the transition smooth while we were at the snow. Even setting up the little one's teddy bears up on his bed for him. Rooms were warm and comfortable with amenities like hairdryers, heated blankets and even a little kitchenette so we could cook our dinner after a long day of exploring. Very clean and well maintained facilities with spa bath in the bigger rooms. Will definitely be coming back to Bella Vista in the future and would reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting Taupo. Great value for money too - terrific for the price! Very close to town centre too 11/10

A wonderful, clean and tidy motel just a short walk from all of Taupo's attractions and amenities. Jason was a great host and pointed us on the right path to getting discounts at some of Taupo's attractions and food places! (Dixie Browns!!) Room was up to our standard and cleaned very nicely both days. Beds were lovely to sleep on, other than some young teenagers running back and forwards on the balcony walkway our room was very quiet despite the motel being full! Would we go back: Hell yes!

The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Very handy location and a nice place to rest at the end of a busy day. We had plenty of towels and little extras like moisturizers and body wash were great. The managers were lovely too.

The motel is run by a friendly couple who were very helpful. The room, though small, had most things you need for a one or 2 night stay.
The free wifi was good and the continental breakfast was good too.
The motel is conveniently situated about a 10 minute walk from Taupo town centre with plenty of restaurants to choose from.

A year after our last stay we decided to come and stay for a night again at Bella Vista Taupo. Jason and Miyuki are lovely hosts, and the cleanliness and comfort this motel is outstanding. When we arrived, on one of the hottest days this summer, the aircon was on and it was lovely and cool. Jason accommodated our e bikes and gave us a suitable ground floor room on request so we could charge them. Thank you - we will be back again.

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and it was perfect for what we needed! The room was spacious, clean and despite all the rooms being full, very quiet. It was so handy to have a little kitchenette to whip together some breakfast and snacks for sightseeing. The kitchenette was fully stocked so you can also head to the supermarket and make a full dinner if you like as well.
We also appreciated that the hotel also gave restaurant and activity suggestions. One of the cool features is that the Bella Vista Taupo has an arrangement with some select local restaurants too so we were able to order dinner and have it delivered straight to the room on the night we arrived.
The location is also fantastic. A quick walk to the main shops and a few streets back from the lake front, the motel is just far removed from the hub that it's a peaceful place to stay.
I also had a few questions and changes that I needed to make before we stayed and Jason was so accommodating - some of the best customer service I've ever had. Really lovely staff top off an already stellar stay.

We stayed for 2 nights at the Bella Vista. Friendly staff at Reception. We got an upgrade to a slightly bigger room on the ground floor, which meant we didn't have to carry bags up stairs - always a plus. Off street parking is provided. Taupo CBD restaurants within 20mins walk. Clean & tidy room, small refrigerator provided. Also has tea & coffee making facilities. Good pressure in shower & nice toiletries. Good light in bathroom, although the light is connected to the fan which is a nuisance if you just want to turn on the light late at night. (And the fan was quite noisy.) Good price for room. No lake views.
