We came to Taupo to see the area and do some mountain biking. Our travel agent chose Whaikapo Lodge and it was the right choice! Angie and Garth offer warm hospitality, including wine and hors d'oeuvres every night for all guests where we could swap...More

Don’t look any further! Angie and Garth made us feel so at home! Terrific hosts, they provided us with very enjoyable places to visit in Taupo although it was pouring with rain. We spent two nights with them and could have spent a few more....More

We spontaneously changed our plans in New Zealand and discovered Whakaipo Lodge and we are very glad we did. Angie and Garth are great hosts (with excellent taste in wine and craft beer) and the lodge is in a nice spot away from the masses...More
