A Luxury Lodge with a beautiful garden located pretty close to the attractive town Taupo and Lake Taupo. Very friendly hosts.
The rooms are well equipped and in a modern stile decorated.
Delicious breakfast was offered with a choice of cooked.

Looking for a top luxury lodge where wonderful hosts gary and sheryl pamper you every minute you have a wish ? You would like to enjoy an a la carte breakfast from stefan the cook in a calm environment of the spacious dining area ? ….or enjoy complimentary snacks and a glass of wine before going to dinner on the patio with wonderful view of lake taupo ? Want to Eenjoy gary‘s attentive assistance in making reservations for golf or restaurant ? Not engough ? You can expect a wonderful and spacious appartment nicely renovated with all amenities you need to enjoy your stay, the garden and the view. We stayed at Lake Taupo Lodge for a couple of nights in Aug 2020. It was a wonderful experience and can recommend to anyone who wants to have an amazing experience to book here. Gary is an amazing host and looked after us so well. He kindly booked and dropped us off to the local restaurants, which he recommended. Both were great. I would highly recommend staying here and hopefully we will get back here as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay

A stunningly beautiful lodge with some of the prettiest landscaping I have ever seen in a small hotel. This was the owners family home converted into a lodge. Our room was, large, comfortable and lovely with a wonderful view of the lake. Very well managed and the owner personally poured each guest a friendly glass of wine in the evening and recommended locations for dinner. A great location for tours of the area. Equally important were the conversations with other guests at evening happy hours and morning breakfast. No negatives of any kind. We recommend highly.

One of the loveliest places we have ever stayed. A beautiful property and well appointed room. Every attention to detail and guest comfort. Our host, Gary greeted us personally and thought of everything, including a reservation for dinner when we arrived and suggestions for activities we might enjoy. Breakfast each morning was delicious. We didn’t want to leave.

The lodge offers the best hospitality that we've experienced in NZ so far. Gary and Shirley make you feel very welcome in their home; whilst Chris makes the most fantastic breakfast and evening canapes. Overall, I would highly recommend this lodge in the Lake Taupo area.

Lake Taupo Lodge is a beautiful place with beautiful views of the lake, the gardens are worth wondering around. Gary and Shirley are great hosts and Chris cooks amazing breakfast and canapés for drinks after 5 o’clock. The room was spacious and spotless. Would recommend staying at the Lake Taupo Lodge.

Love LTL - we first went 3 years ago becuase of the Frank LW inspired architecture - now we just love the place. Beautifully peaceful, inviting and warm. Super engaging owners, Gary is so very helpful and obliging. Chris the Chef is marvellous and a card ta boot! Gracious service and atmosphere.
